The first guys to make money from punk music
John Lydon says hi
Did he? Seems out of character...

@Tim Made Top 40 charts in NZ due to presence of Tim Finn and Eddie Rayner. A collaboration in Finn's case that was still going 45 years later (albeit more off than on)
Forenzics. Great listen. Eddie Rayner is one of the great keyboard players who rarely gets the credit he deserves.

Christopher Cross is known more as a MOR singer/songwriter but is one heck of a guitarist.

@Victor-Meldrew Also essential Yacht Rock.
He played with Deep Purple at a show in the 70s when Richie Blackmore was sick.

Sailing was the soundtrack to a particularly sweet love affair (we're still friends..)
He played with Deep Purple at a show in the 70s when Richie Blackmore was sick.
I had no idea he was such a good guitarist.

@MN5 That is indeed pretty cool.
Just looking up and they are all not far off 80. Paice looks a bit slower, but fair play to him.
Paice should be mentioned with Bonham, Baker, Moon etc but rarely is. He is an absolutely awesome drummer. Sabbaths Bill Ward is another who is underrated in a similar manner
Gillan can still sing surprisingly well and Glover is steady as always.
The other two are just ring ins
As I said, a surprisingly ok song. I assumed it would be terrible.
