In a couple weeks we will face our biggest test since the World Cup final in 2023 and what will be by far Razor's biggest challenge since taking over the reins a couple months ago.

How's everyone's confidence going over to South Africa? Scott Barrett comes back into the fold, but it looks like we won't have Tuipolotu, Jacobsen and De Groot. Who are the replacements? Does Sotutu finally get an opponrtunity to join the squad, or will Lakai get an opportunity. Numia is probably the favourite to replace De Groot after getting through a whole game for Wellington today, and Walker-Leawere spent a week in camp last week so he might get the call up (if they decide to take five locks).

I'm feeling pretty good about our chances but I guess we won't know how good we really are until we face up to the force of the Boks on home turf.

Reckon we've a decent chance of stealing one. 99.99% chance of losing the other.

If you could offer me a win loss in the republic I'd take that right now

I can't see anything but two losses, were not at SA level at all. But rugby results can be crazy, so maybe we get one if we have a ref that doesn't card and his hard on time wasting, and the boys front up like the first forty versus ARG. A lot of things have to go well tho.

    We have a chance because:

    • we have a scrum
    • we have some young forwards who are gaining confidence. tMightyW, Darry, Vaai
    • forwards are still more important than backs
    • DMac will be a handful on the firm grounds
    • dont spin rubbish ball as we'll get done in midfield
    • choose the fast wingers Jordan, Clarke

    SA still favourites though

We headed in the right direction last night. But we need to improve our option taking to cut the turnover opportunities way down. Any time we lose the ball the bokke will drive us down deep into our half and choke us to death

Johannesburg, then Cape Town. The ABs have a good record (4-1) at the latter in the professional era.

Did you see how poor they were against Oz in the second test?

I think if we turned up like the first half last weekend we're halfway there.

I see they made 10 changes to the side. How many first choice players did they have in their squad last night?

Springbok team is easy to predict. Willie, KLA, Kriel, De Ellende, Kolbey, Pollard, Reinach, Wiese, Kolisi, PSdT, RG Snyman, Etsebeth, Malherbe, Bongi, Ox.

Bench maybe 7/1 with SMZ the only back.
Kitshoff, Marx, Koch, Moerat, Nortje, BJD, Kwagga, SMZ
