Saw the Foo and Stones last times in NZ, they kicked ass. The stones are total pros, even now they rock

Saw Metallica 3 years ago, played black album start to finish then ran with some classics for encores. Would see them again in an instant, absolute class act

I saw Def Leppard and White Snake 8 years ago. That counts right?

Apparently GnR have reviewed well. Hopefully they play NZ before they piss each other off and blow up the tour.

Sounded like Axel won rave reviews for his spell with AC/DC too.
Back in their prime there was always a 50% chance GnR would either pull out of show, be on stage 6 hours late or Perform without Axel( by all accounts was and probably still is a complete prick)

Jealous. I wish Thailand got some decent concerts (and sporting events). Unfortunately Thai boy bands and love song singers are about as good as it gets...

As an aside to the bucket list, how about bands you never got to see in their prime?

Top of my list are Pink Floyd. Closely followed by GnR ( even with the risk of being let down)

Saw Blondie in the late 90s in Auckland and Debbie Harry still rocked. Past her use by date now unfortunately

Got Springsteen tickets, missed him in the early 2000s becuase my ute shat its guts, missed him last time because I just bought a house but he sang Royals by lorde as his first song which is not an image I ever want in my head. Will be my sons first concert too.

@jegga You'll get your money's worth, he played for ages. Only disappointment last time was I went the night he played Born to Run in its entirety, the night before he did Born in the USA 😞

@canefan I'd be happy with either album to be honest.

@jegga watching him and the E Street Band work was a privilege, no mailing it in from Bruce

When that came out I was still in high school in a little town in the middle of fucking nowhere. Loved that album but never appreciated just how huge it was until seeing a doco on Def Leppard years later. It was fucking massive.

holy shit, i just saw the set list for Metallica in Puerto Rico, 3 of my 6 favourite Metallica songs to start. The rest is fucking solid, with only one glaring miss.

If this is the standard of the tour i might just have to go

    CREEPING DEATH
    FOR WHOM THE BELL TOLLS
    WHEREVER I MAY ROAM
    HARVESTER OF SORROW
    THE MEMORY REMAINS
    THE UNFORGIVEN
    MOTH INTO FLAME
    RIDE THE LIGHTNING
    SAD BUT TRUE
    ONE
    MASTER OF PUPPETS
    BATTERY
    FADE TO BLACK
    SEEK AND DESTROY
    ENCORE

    HARDWIRED
    WHISKEY IN THE JAR
    NOTHING ELSE MATTERS
    ENTER SANDMAN

Going to Gunners in Feb. My mate just reminded me I owe him close to $400 for the tickets, thank fuck I've already bought pressies for the boys for xmas. I've heard good things about their latest efforts so fair to say I'm as happy as a clam at high tide. If they're good they might knock Prince off the top spot of best live acts I've seen and there's been some fucken good uns.....ACDC, Deep Purple, chillis, Billy Idol, Ben Harper, Dire Straits ( before I realised how boring they were )

A mate has the Pink Floyd experience band on DVD and it's probably at the point where they do it better than the originals ever did ( complete with the vocalist/bassist doing all the wank louspeaker shit that Roger Waters did back in the day )
