They have a new record out. (I haven't heard it.) They just toured. (I didn't see it. But my friends did, and gave it big thumbs-up.)

Not sure if Come ever came down that way. Boston/NYC band, recorded for Matador, only around for a few years, but they were amazing. Saw them three times, and the best of the lot was the night before ABs opening game vs. Ireland at RWC1995 (a.k.a Jonah Unleashed), and that show was certainly one of best 5 shows of my life. Small club, rested my beer on the front of the stage, I was levitating and thinking it hard to imagine the Stones at their peak could have played so tight. If you enjoy Afghans and L7 you might like to add to your playlist.

"Pop"would have been a better term than "mainstream". J Coles borders on pop I guess but their rhymes are tight and their flows are pretty much unmatched by any other rappers of their generation.

You can always go deeper and find some hungry as fuck word smiths that stomp on the shit you hear on the radio. But my point was that the King Kunta track is horrible pop shit whereas his usual stuff is very good.

"Gravedigger." This is from a 1971 movie "Zachariah." The song is about having sex with a corpse. I'm not sure these are connected, but I am very glad I found it.

Mrs jegga went to this concert , she got free tickets and didn't invite me because she knows I think he's musics answer to Rhys Darby. Shes been very diplomatic about the concert every time I've asked her about it because A -shes a lot nicer than me and B- I suspect it was rubbish as the overrated arseclown doesn't have much of a voice and relies on his "I'm mad I am , look at me !" schtick and persona of being a bit of a lad more than anything else and she's loathe to admit I'm right.

Imagine my surprise at reading the review http://www.stuff.co.nz/entertainment/music/gig-reviews/73564639/robbie-williams-a-crowdpleaser-for-the-ladies-but-fails-to-hit-the-high-notes

I won't bring it up with her in case it jeopardises my chances of having sex again before the decades out.
