That's a pretty strong Welsh team. Mike.

Interesting that Wales seem to be able to slot players in to replace retirees and injured players with minimal disruption to their game plans.

Biggar needs to have a massive game.

And whilst he's won us some matches he's not the answer in Pivac's system.

    Wales:
Leigh Halfpenny; Louis Rees-Zammit, George North, Johnny Williams, Hallam Amos; Dan Biggar, Tomos Williams
Wyn Jones, Ken Owens, Tomas Francis, Adam Beard, Alun Wyn Jones (capt), Dan Lydiate, Justin Tipuric, Taulupe Faletau

    Replacements:
Elliot Dee, Rhodri Jones, Leon Brown, Will Rowlands, Josh Navidi
Gareth Davies, Callum Sheedy, Nick Tompkins

    Ireland:
Keenan, Earls, Ringrose; Henshaw, Lowe; Sexton, Murray
Healy, Herring, Porter, Beirne, Ryan, O'Mahony, Van der Flier, Stander

    Replacements:
    Kelleher, Kilcoyne, Furlong, Henderson, Connors
    Gibson Park, Burns, Larmour

Pivac desperate for a win, hence Biggar starting at 10.

    Ireland by 7-11

For me the Irish bench looks stronger.

Will the Cardiff hoodoo disappear without a crowd?

Getting excited about watching some rugby!

    Yep

    Hence my prediction

@MiketheSnow Interesting chat this arvo with Scottish mate. Reckons that England without Twickenham crowd might be vulnerable there for once this year.

Both of those lose forward trios are good, should be interesting around the breakdown!

Not surprising when their game plan of late has been ..... ummmmm ..... errrrrr ...... not be competitive and lose?

I fear the same but not just because of the lack of crowd. It’s a bloody good Scottish team. Best chance for 30+ years for a Scots win at HQ 😕

My money would be on home side, but Scottish 23 better than for some time.

@Victor-Meldrew yeah the attack has the right idea but just too ponderous and too far behind the advantage line.

    ..and far too many errors.

PS: The woman doing the analysis on the ITV feed, Danielle Waterman, is bloody good.

That was a sweet try. Are they coming back for the knock on?

    France clinical.

They seem to have some good players, - Garbisi looks class - but as a team they look awful.

@Victor-Meldrew yeah that Argie looks bloody handy too. But just no continuity - they have had loads of line breaks but absolutely zero support!

Ben Youngs is England’s TJP. The tragedy for England is that they don’t have their own Aaron Smith

So far (in case the Curse of the Meldrew's strikes) Scotland's game management has been on another planet.

    Impressive stuff.
