The now former OKC coach Billy Donovan is the new coach of the Chicago Bulls.

Good fit I think - a good development coach to get you to the playoffs but not a good coach once you have a title contender.

And the post-1998 rebuild continues (I know D Rose was good for 10 minutes....). Finally finished The Last Dance. Clearly Jordan did not take Reinsdorf at his word when he said he offered to bring Phil and the team back for another run

@canefan Bulls now have a highly regarded GM running things for the first time in a very long time. They are going to be an interesting follow.

Both the Lakers and Nuggets looked gassed. Nuggets just managed to hold it together enough to pull away. 20 point leads mean very little these days.

Nuggets were paying $39 to win the series yesterday and are now at $6.50. If it goes long I think the Lebron and AD won't be able to keep the effort up.

Go away? At 3-1 they've got one foot in the finals. Are they good enough to beat LeBron and AD though?

I was sure the Celtics talent was going to be enough.

    You've made my point.

Even at 2-1 down I think most expected the Celtics to win today and eventually win the series. Very unlikely now.

Watched the game, and man Tyler Herro had his coming out party. The kid has that edge and is a fantastic piece to complement Jimmy, Dragon and Robinson.

Celts small ball was exposed a little but they still had a chance to win.

Man the Lakers got some home cooking from the refs in the 4th. Must’ve been the memo the league got from Vogel and James....

Lakers are flopping, whining bitches. Got all the calls late.

Still, who's boxout assignment was Rondo ffs?! No way that guy should have been able to get that rebound, in that period of the game.

Massive 2nd half by the Celts and live for another game.

Thought the two big fellas - Kanter and Theis were very important to how they played against the Miami zone. Well coached Brad Stevens. Tatum, Brown and Walker all very good.

Lakers close it out with a monster triple double from LeBron, only the 3rd 30+/15+/10+ stat line in a close out game ever.

Lakers look really good, and he looks on a mission!

Just absurd that a bloke who is 3rd all-time in career minutes played, can simultaneously be the best player in the world right now.

    What a performance.

He's bloody ageless. How often have we seen a sportsman - or sportswoman - as competitive at such an advanced stage of their career? Just happens to be two of them running around at the moment, both African-Americans and one of each sex. Phenomenal.

He is a phenomenal athlete. And his prep is meticulous. Just dominated Denver yesterday.
