You have to fancy Ireland to win this comfortably in the last quarter, but...

Scotland could easily turn the Cup on its head on Day 3.

    Watson could run riot.

Who are we barracking for? Ireland and probably easier quarter vs Scotland. Or Scotland because the underdog?

I expect Ireland to win, but I hope Scotland is going to make it as difficult as possible for them. I want a great and close contest.

I see Renton and Sickboy are there, but no sign of Begbie or Spud?

Looks like Ireland are going to overpower them in the forwards. Very soft missed tackle leading to the break and the try.

Scotland will need to defend their line a lot better as well. Ireland just pounded away with no variation for 5 phases until they fell over the line.

I know it's a childish, immature and stupid thing to say about a v. good player, but jeez, Sexton has got a punchable face.

I have a theory the more tough games you play in consecutive weeks , the closer you get to a poor performance, an easy quarter will be a blessing I reckon .

    Did Hansen not say
At the last WC teams have 2 big ones in a row in them very hard to get up for the 3rd game
    And performance drops off dramatically.
