Looking increasingly likely that the Lions management are going to request the tests go ahead this year in the UK and Ireland.

Not just the tests, but the other tour matches as well by flying the SA provincial teams to the UK to recreate the original tour schedule. 🙄

How about a three-way tournament between the British & Irish Lions, the Boks and the All Blacks in New Zealand in July?

@sparky The All Blacks are - COVID permitting - already playing Italy (2x) and Fiji in July, this year.

And we can scarcely contain our excitement. Those games are going to be very, very one-sided. Italy and Fiji should play the Junior All Blacks.

Aus pitch is around ex-pat fans attending rather than touring fans.

@KiwiMurph i reckon they'd be better off pitching the Aus tour for 2021, postpone the SA one until 2024.

Might be rubbish, but also might mean we can go for a wee trip to Oz to support the Lions - sweet!

Support reportedly growing for Australia option as Lions officials set to discuss finer details

The response was tepid last month to Australia hosting the Lions vs South Africa tour but momentum has reportedly now grown for the idea.
