Sorry, was being glib about being a teacher. I previously ran a marketing department.
I am now unemployed and at home with my kids. (So I have skin in the game in terms of getting out of lockdown but think the second wave could be a lot worse if we are not carwful)

Oh, and I think Scottish independence would be sad.
England and Scotland truly are better together in both directions and should be working towards shared goals for the benefit of both.I'm not a fan of Brexit and think the irony of SNP saying we must stay in Europe and aligning to that cause while trying to create division in a 300 plus year old union is sad.
So yeah, I'm not a natural Sturgeon fan but on this occasion she wasnt even consulted about about the core messaging change but found out about it by newspaper. I would be pissed if I was her

@booboo
Fine as far as I know.
Regardless, they are directly quoting Der Spiegel...... "a centre-left German weekly news magazine published in Hamburg. With a weekly circulation of 840,000 copies, it is the largest such publication in Europe" -

Regardless, they are directly quoting Der Spiegel...... "a centre-left German weekly news magazine published in Hamburg. With a weekly circulation of 840,000 copies, it is the largest such publication in Europe"Sadly, we need to take Der Spiegel and the media with a good degree of scepticism.....
"The German news magazine Der Spiegel has been plunged into chaos after revealing that one of its top reporters had falsified stories over several years.
The media world was stunned by the revelations that the award-winning journalist Claas Relotius had, according to the weekly, “made up stories and invented protagonists” in at least 14 out of 60 articles that appeared in its print and online editions, warning that other outlets could also be affected."
He had written for the magazine for seven years and won numerous awards for his investigative journalism, including CNN Journalist of the Year in 2014.
Earlier this month, he won Germany’s Reporterpreis (Reporter of the Year) for his story about a young Syrian boy, which the jurors praised for its “lightness, poetry and relevance”. It has since emerged that all the sources for his reportage were at best hazy, and much of what he wrote was made up.**

That cause (the EU) is more disjointed than ever. UVL having to make press releases about EU unity duing CV, mainly because there palpibly isn't much!
What is plain from different impacts of CV in various countries is that one size doesn't fit all. So, whilst I agree that a joined-up UK approach is desirable, no qualms if NI, to name one, varies from the rest.

I did wonder too. I did like their end comment though "The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment from the Daily Caller.".
They just forgot to say "save for saying who the fuck is the Daily Caller"?

With a daily circulation of 1.4 million, it is the largest such publication in the UK.

It's there in the fine print.

Just read a piece that said BoJo's speech was a chaotic shambles as it was unclear whether travelling from London to the Lake District to exercise/relax there and meet people from other households from London was OK.
Having re-read BoJo's speech and read/listened to the various media outlets, I now think he may have screwed up by treating people as adults and expecting them to use common sense.
EDIT: No irony intended in this comment.

The Daily Caller was founded by Tucker Carlson from Fox
The Daily Caller has attended White House press briefings.
Well known to the White House (but nice joke) -

Common Sense just isn't that common ironically.
Already had English heading over the bridge to Wales only to be fined by the police and sent packing.

Aren't the toll-booths on the English side?
Why were the people allowed to cross?
How can we blame Boris for this?

I've not been impressed with Mark Drakeford since he became First Minister For Wales - he's your boring uncle - but this is what clear messaging looks like IMHO
Garden Centres are the antidote to a compromised mental health apparently
Kernewek pronunciation is crap..

Toll Booths were removed in December 2018.
There are no barriers now.
In yesterday's announcement travel by car to exercise was allowed again.
Give them an inch and they take hundreds of miles.

When you set a law ,you have to expect people to follow it, and consequences for those that don't.
Realistically this will never happen. But it must remain the assumption.
