I've not been impressed with Mark Drakeford since he became First Minister For Wales - he's your boring uncle - but this is what clear messaging looks like IMHO
Garden Centres are the antidote to a compromised mental health apparently
Kernewek?
What is this please?
The Cornish Language (which I'm struggling to learn) which is quite closely related to Welsh.
Was surprised the speech wasn't in Welsh when I saw the English subtitles as it's fun to pick up words here and there.

Just listening to BoJo in the HoC fielding questions.
Lot's of good questions but, fark me, some are so bloody ridiculous, you begin to doubt the sanity of the people asking them.

Comparison of antibody test kits from the FDA, based on info submitted to it:
Independent testing of Abbot's laboratory ELISA test against RT-PCR results looks like it confirmed test quality.

Though not the proven cause as yet, what a sad story. People. Sheesh.

No objection to both.

Lol, real life meets internet life. Matt Hall (cispt2 aka cisplatin) is a good friend of mine. Did his post doc in the lab above mine at the NCI/NIH before taking his current job at NCATS. He is a huge Aussie rugby man from Sydney, I know he has been on Green and Gold Rugby, not sure about here.
-
@rustycruiser Nice.
-
@Tim we are just finishing a high throughput drug screen on prostate cancer PDX and PDO organoids in collaboration with NCATS. We process and plate the organoids in matrigel, and then take them up there to have the robots acoustically drug the plates. Started off with single compounds, and have moved onto synergy studies based on initial results. They have lots of toys that a regular lab doesn't. Its a cool place to visit
-
@rustycruiser Sounds great. I used to work on droplet microfluidic screening of antibody clones. Recently I have been developing particles for gene therapy, am hoping to get access to neural organoids, via a department collaboration, for better in vitro studies.
Would be happy just be able to go back to my lab for now!
