So Barrett and Dunshea starting, and Grace on the bench? Or Romano?

Romano seems to be carrying a lot of extra weight this year

The Strange injury is a big blow but that shouldn't be a problem in week one against the Waratahs though

I would expect to see something like this as the starting 15 with some AB's coming back from the Bench

    1. Moodey
      2.Makalio
      3.Alaalatoa
      4.Dunshea
      5.Barrett
      6.Sanders
      7.Christie
      8.Douglas
      9.Hall
      10.Mounga
      12.Goodhue
      13.Ennor
      11.Bridge.
      14.Jordan
      15.Havaiil

    Bench
    Taylor
    Bower
    Jager
    Romano
    Havalli
    Drummond
    Cameron
Faingaanuku. as I don't think they will play both bridge and Reece this week due to 40 min Ab restrictions

@DrivingMaul Somewhere through the season yep but with Strange out it leaves us compromised at lock the first Rd selection doesn't always mean it will stay that way .

    @Chris I was fishing for outrage 🙂
He clearly should be playing in the locks and not at 6

@DrivingMaul Yeah, with Retallick not playing for the ABs this year, they'll probably go for a Barrett-Whitelock combo. In that light, it wouldn't be good if Barrett spent most of his time playing at 6 for the Crusaders.

Young gun Harrison at 10. By all accounts he is the real deal. If I was the Tahs i'd be more worried about the tight five.

    Waratahs to face the Crusaders

    1. Tom Robertson
    2. Robbie Abel
    3. Tetera Faulkner
    4. Tom Staniforth
    5. Rob Simmons (C)
    6. Lachlan Swinton
    7. Michael Hooper
    8. Jed Holloway
    9. Jake Gordon
    10. Will Harrison
    11. Alex Newsome
    12. Karmichael Hunt
    13. Lalakai Foketi
    14. Mark Nawaqanitawase
    15. Kurtley Beale

    Reserves

    1. Damien Fitzpatrick
    2. Angus Bell
    3. Chris Talakai
    4. Ryan Mccauley
    5. Jack Dempsey
    6. Carlo Tizzano
    7. Mitch Short
    8. Jack Maddocks

Harrison and Nawaqanitawase have a bit of hype behind them. It's the Tahs so I guess everyone will be sceptical about that..

The winger does look good though. Some skill to go with the pace and size. He'll have to be bloody good before anyone will bother learning to spell that surname

What's Harrison like? Is there another ten he's similar to?

I've heard some comparisons to Dan Carter in terms of style (I'm not saying he's going to be the next Dan Carter).

Great left foot, silky runner, deceptively strong.

He was part of the Aus U20s who carved up the Baby Blacks last year and made the U20 RWC Final. He's also impressed in the NRC last year and the preseason for the Tahs.

When he's good he reminds me of Cruden. He's quick, likes to take on the line, can step and has a pretty good pass (although what young professional doesn't these days). The problem will be his confidence stepping up to a starting position in SR. His debut in the NRC was a bit of a mare.

I don't know about his kicking ability because the NRC isn't geared for that sort of territorial dominance.

Now that I've got a good friend working at the Tahs I find myself feeling slightly interested in how they'll.

    I am disgusted with myself.

@Nepia and right you should be, if I had a mate working at HB I'd tell him to quit or find a new friend 😂
