Lockdown/Covid Check In

@pakman Really poorly organised to be fair, half our department had the vacc yest and most rang in sick or said they couldn't get in because of snow 🙄 and the rest of us sicked off early.
I fully expect I'll be fine tomorrow. Not hearing this with the Pfizer jab at all so far.
Any progress?
Scotland opening primary schools after half term, and Boris making noises about schools...
-
@pakman he's given us the earliest of 8th March last I heard...
I'm really not keeping up with covid news lately, just gets you down.
On the jab, jeez I haven't felt that bad from any virus I've had let alone from vacc side effects, strong stuff! Hearing the second dose gives you side effects again too, didn't last long though and all worth it in the end.Everyone keeping well!?

I've got... a cold!
-
@R-L A cold is serious stuff for a guy. We can be on our backs for quite some time, usually if there is test cricket on.
I don't ever recall having a bell though...(kidding - hope that he is better). -

Gin and tonic please - in case of malaria!
As my boss in PNG used to say - drink 20 gin and tonics a day and you won't die of malaria.
Actually I have alcoholic remedies for most maladies.
Yeah - I've got a similar medical book...
plenty of beer to dissuade mosquitos.
G&T as the back-up, for malaria.
Whiskey-mac for a cold.
Beer if one's too hot.
Guinness if hungry.
Red wine for the heart.
Cocaine if feeling a bit tired.
And if in doubt, just chop a few beers and wines to be safe. -

@Bones I have it on good authority they are hard to find...we must have a few in bushes out the back though.
Just leave them be anyway, you would deserve a good peck in the eye if you go sticking your nose in.Humphrey Lyttleton lives.
Hoorah!
