Heading back in to Lockdown tomorrow at 6pm
Can't drive to exercise.
Snow forecast next week
My moniker will be in full force if it does
'If it's snowing, I'm going'

Listened this arvo to some Welsh politico on BBC Radio 4. Detailed discussion on whether or not a replacement kettle was an essential purchase.
Curiouser and curiouser...
Fucking joke.
Clothes are now 'non-essential' items in supermarkets.
Have these Labour fuckers got shares in online delivery companies?

I heard the the clothing issue was intended to ensure it is fair on clothes retailers who can’t open. What about the fucking internet you twats? Is that not “unfair” as well?
It’s no wonder that the current rules are getting everyone pissed off. Just stupidity and stupidity that everyone can see.

@Bones yeah cool.
He explains the research that's been done since covid. 40,000 odd research papers i think he said. And is exasperated that we're still treating the thing like we don't know more than we did in march. Just ignoring all we've discovered since then. Talks about how Sweden just followed science and will be/are better off. It's not a spruiker of Sweden as he says France and Spain show similar patterns. He's aghast that compulsory masks came in in the height of summer, when risk was lowest and immunities are in a strengthening phase. Masks at that time totally unscientific justification.
Says a vaccine will only make you a bit less sick and indeed a vaccine for Coronavirus has never been made ever before.
Really worried about the political influence in what is purely a medical and scientific domain. Cites many big guys in virology etc who strongly disagree with current policies. Said there are no studies that showed Coronavirus in the past is stopped by masks, all say ineffective. That's off the top of my head.
Just the way he spoke and referred to science and data made it a valuable clear voice in a sea of bullshit.Worth giving him 5-10 minutes because it made me understand the virus better. Not a political podcast either.
Take away message is that uk and Ireland are reacting like it's still march 15 and all the medical fraternity disagree with the way it's being handled. Believe we are needlessly suffering with no evidence to back up these policies.

Edit oh and wants us to serious ask ourselves why there was never a huge spike or incidence of covid in supermarkets all through lockdown. Its the only place where consistently everyone went there and maskless a lot of the time. Supermarket staff getting covid?
Whatever your answer, you'll need research references to better him 🙂
You can't believe that's true, he's been at the forefront of the "lockdowns are wrong" movement for months.

@Nepia ahh shit you got me. I'm busted.
I spent all that time writing that thing ONLY to push my political views on you all.I lied about all the science and tried to trick you all into changing your political ideologies and subvert you into mine and Ivor's political point of view.
It seems I've been caught out by a super sleuth who rightly noticed that every topic in this world is political first and then something else, like scientific, second.
Fuck me busted by the " that's political " police.

Scam might be stretching things but it does leave the daily figures open to interpretation. Are they as bad as it would seem or not? More confusion when we need clarity.
Edit: I see that is the weekly report. Unsure if the daily figures are also conflated.

I agree that it seems ripe to cause confusion but the gotcha of that persons social media post is just weird when no one yet knows how they will be presented in the reports.
