While we're on the topic of ludicrous....can we stop appointing Clarke as the next superstar midfielder? He's had one and a bit tests on the wing.

You can't blame the fans. They're just getting on the Reiko ( did I spell that right ? ) bandwagon nice and early.

What annoyed me in the ABs performance is the easiness with which the Aussies punched holes through their defence. And this despite the tackles being made. It's a problem of general organization and tactic, so it is of McLeod's domain. Any thoughts ?

An Ardie-Clarke midfield would be barnstorming.

You can only imagine the damage they'd do outside a returning Dagg.

I agree, I also wonder how much misreading decoy runners comes into play too.

@Bones he’s a rock, literally. About 5’8-5’9 and quick feet.

A genuine poach from the Aussies too πŸ˜‰

And Messam on the bench covering them.

@antipodean yeah definitely seemed more "fired up" in this match than I can remember seeing him.

Hodgman was the one that tackled an obstructing Oz player at one stage - it was the most glaring example of his engine not quite being there as he could've just run past him but it almost appeared he saw a chance to have a lie down. Watching him slowly roll and gesture to the ref was quite funny.

Kinda didn't mind that. There was so much obstruction by the Win a it was good to make a point.

Loving people still banging on about SA and England, doesn't look stupid at all because they're extremely relevant right now. They are clearly leading the world at amazing rugby.

It’s hilarious. Some talk as if we are playing them next weekend.

An in form England and SA are a sight to behold at the moment and absolutely unstoppable, didn't you know? And how about the tackling technique on their forwards! They just don't miss, the evidence is clear.

Well South Africa at least have not missed a tackle since the RWC Final.

    No fan of Jordie-Ardie?

Oh yeah, it would have been even better if it wasn't just that bit too behind the play and the ref didn't even seem to be looking.

Seems their forwards don't let wingers get through either. Was Bridge playing fullback against them last year?

England players are currently Euro champs, Exeter won by old fashioned maul it up smash β€˜em rugby. It is not like there is no rugby at all. They also play this weekend, minus Premiership final players
