Captain's challenge makes no sense when the referees can just review anything anyway. It is literarly pointless and teams should just save it for controversial penalties in the last 5 minutes.

The worst part is that even when you are right, they rule on it and won’t overturn. There should be a separate referee (and fuck that). The whole system is stupid.

Teams in Super Rugby continue to lose their shape when Mo'unga receives the ball behind the first ball carrier, rushing out of the line unnecessarly creating holes for Mo'unga to take. Think sides need to do more homework on shutting Mo'unga down i.e. not shooting out of the line.

International sides worked it out pretty quickly.

Hard enough trying to beat a champion team when calls like this are going against you ..!

It's not just a call here and there like is usual, it's the succession of calls. Chiefs have had a couple of rubs of the green, crusaders get a stream of them.

The problem is it always just one player running up. Never running up as a team.

@gt12 Yes, hence why he struggles there. Super Rugby sides make him look very good at times.

@hydro11 And that's all he needs. Either all go up or don't go up at all.

@bones I think we should balance it by saying , you still need to take your opportunities ..ENS tries to pick a ball instead of kicking it ..possible 7 points , 2 missed penalties ..13 possible points gone astray ..

Problem is Chiefs have allowed Crusaders to gain momentum. Like when it was 10-8 and off the kick off they give away the dumb penalty.

And Quinn Tupaea just does exactly what you shouldn't on Mo'unga, proving my point.

Are we sending out ENS? That’s funny if so.

Edit: nope that was Tupaea who is looking very ducking ordinary.

We have a maul, red in possession.

Ref says brought down by red. No penalty. So collapsing a maul is ok if you're red?

@hydro11 all the above ..it’s easy to focus on the decisions that are not going your way and forget the ones that are in your own hands ..

Nit just a Red problem. Teams in possession have been getting away with collapsing the maul for ages.

Yeah but you don't usually hear the ref saying that they collapsed it...
