31 of the 33 fired, enough to get to orbit.
Was it mentioned what the threshold is for that? Minimum thrust required etc.
No, just that - I've not had a chance to dig into the coverage yet. Looks like this and the wet dress rehearsal have gone well enough for the orbital test next month. Now THAT is going to be exciting!

Shit yeah. I loved the first few rounds of explosions when they tested Starship.

Elon is always quick to say it's not guaranteed they will make orbit the first time, but its guaranteed to be exciting.

Go time!
When exactly?
Sounds like the window is midnight-2:30am nzt? But targeting 1am? Is that right?
sounds pretty right. Terrible timing for NZ, but it's super exciting. Can't wait to find out the result (or may even get up and have a look)

Coverage starts 45mins before launch, which looks to be 12:15am at the moment, so 1am.

@Kirwan twice the power of the saturn v I understand. Ridiculous... It's reusable (in theory)
Twice the thrust. Saturn V could deliver 118t to orbit, Starship (depending on configuration) will deliver 110 to 165t.
And if they get both Starship and the Booster to land it will be the first fully reusable orbital rocket. He wants thousands of these things too.

Musk has really re-ignited the excitement of space exploration hasn't he?
I'll be watching the launch and feeling like the little kid watching the Apollo launches.
