Jack Doohan replaced by Colapinto

Piastri moving from Alpine to McLaren has to be one of the best sports decisions of all time.
And Mclaren paying him relatively little compared to other top drivers also worked out great for them. I assume they must have to pay him the same as Lando at some point.

Always going to happen with his run of results and a platoon of spare drivers.
Liam may be safer with only Ayumu Iwasa to beat.

Why on earth is Briatore still allowed to be anywhere near an F1 team? The guys life is a trail of dodgy behaviour, both in and out of F1.
Didn't see too much wrong with Doohan honestly, but it's right that Colapinto has a seat somewhere.
Lots of youngsters around, Lawson needs to work on his discipline otherwise he'll find himself out in the cold with no way back in.

@canefan Yes, great result for Lawson but overshadowed by the 5th by his rookie teammate who did very well. Lawson may struggle as he has both Mercedes behind, Tsunoda the Williams etc. It will be interesting to see if the team can get it together for this one.

Its a very difficult track to overtake. Liam's main problem in the previous rounds was his poor quali, which then lead to his team having to make low percentage choices in the hope that he might make a dramatic gain. If he can hold his own at the start that will be half the battle

In comparison with those models of probity and financial integrity Bernie Ecclestone and Max Mosley. F1's links to tax fraud, money laundering and organised crime are legendary.

Lawson finished 8th in Monaco. A great result for him.
Solid strategy and an excellent result. He was just behind Ocon in the latter stages, and not far from Hadjar either. That will do wonders for the confidence
The tactics weren’t great for the spectacle but Lawson did very well.
He held up the middle of the pack to allow Hadjar to pit in front of them. Continued to hold them up so Hadjar could complete his second mandatory pit and stay in front of Lawson essentially confirming 6th spot for his team mate. After that he had enough pace to complete his two pits without losing positions
The new track rules didn’t work but RB took advantage of them the best
