Robertson also confirmed that Vice-Captain Codie Taylor (ribs) and Richie Mo'unga (finger) are both on track to return for next week's Quarter Final.
-
Apart from 2 and 10 that would be their strongest 15 wouldn’t it?
-
@Crucial Jack > Ennor
-
@Chris Bryn Hall with many consecutive starts this season, good for him he seems like a nice guy judging by his podcast🙂
-
@Crucial Joe Moody, Jack Goodhue and maybe Fletcher Newell would be in their strongest XV, too.
-
@FakatavaFuture Hmmm he may be a bit different away from the cameras......haha
-
Ricky Jackson must have leapfrogged Shilo Klein since that red card. Jackson consistently getting picked over Klein.
-

A bit of a weird one isn't it - in all likelihood a dress rehearsal before the quarterfinal next week between the same two teams.
I thought Reds might rest Tate but they are obviously still eyeing an upset to try and jump up the ladder.
-
For me 3/4 changes and it would be the strongest XV allowing for no Moody.
Goodhue > Ennor
Taylor > McAlister
Mounga > Burke.Maybe Newell > Jager

I'm not sure it's in Thorns head the idea of freshening up players.
-
Perhaps Thorn thinks they'd have better luck making the semis against the Brumbies or Chiefs? They can't get into the top four and the way they've been playing this year, they can't play for 80mins anyway.

I'd add Fletcher Newell as stronger than Oli Jager
-
Israel Dagg seems to have stolen Kevin Barry's hairpiece.
-
Best SH ref with this fixture. Reds really want to grab a bonus point from this at the very least. Crusaders to secure home semi. All to play for.
-
God Ennor has gone backwards. 3 on 1 and he kicks it 🤦
-
Here comes the Bridge

Bonus point to Reds would not make any difference to them. Would put them on 36 points. Two teams either side are Tahs on 37 and Clan on 22.
-
Bridge, Havili & Ennor combined really well there to put Jordan in

Yep - I was looking at the Tahs' points.
Meanwhile the Reds get a 50:22 from an aimless Havili kick.

And also, does not seem very likely.

The state of jerseys these days.
The reds are called blue.
-
The laws should be amended so if a halfback mistakes himself for an enforcer you can give them a good smacking.

Having trouble handling that to Bones, as well as Brad Thorn coached team is avoiding taking the ball into contact, and playing way behind advantage line!!
-
Pushing some 50/50 passes in that half.
And some aimless kicking
Very much playing within themselves not showing too much for next week.
George Bower is destroying the Reds TH time and time again. -
@Chris Bower's popping up around the park as well. Going alright this year!

Yep strong around the park first half .

Jordan proves he's human

Pity because it was a good break and pass by Ennor
-
That's Matera's night done. Stupid.

Was a poor drop. But worst of all is he stopped playing after he'd dropped it.

Yellow. Seems about right for a shoulder-land
-
Matera should have seen red. That was bad.

Disagree.
The head or shoulder land was all on the victim not the tackler. -
The thing I don't like about the arm/shoulder mitigation is that it's often through the actions of the player being dumped on their head as to whether the tackler is yellow or red carded. Stick your arm out to try and save your neck and the tackler is often given a yellow for what should clearly be a red card.
-
Whatever type of card it was poor from Matera when he didn’t really need to use a lift
-
Shocking exit kick from TTT and it puts us under pressure and Reds score a good try.
-
Useless kick from Havili, then gets matched with an equally poor kick from the Reds.
