SF - Canterbury vs BOP
-
I heard there’s a game on this weekend
Some highlights from last years game which was a good high scoring one. The Good Guys won.
-
2020 was a great afternoon in the Tauranga sun.
-
@Donsteppa fake news…
-
Are BOP a realistic chance in this one? I use to follow the overall comp quite closely but have a little one now so I have to be a bit more selective lol.
-
@foobaNZ they are in with a good chance, they have a good mix of experience and flair. They are playng well. I'm picking them to get the W
-
It might depend on whether Trask and Finau are fit to play. The scrum and lineout battle will be interesting.

Nothing would please me more! (particularly if the Lions can get up).

did anyone really thing Luke and has plucky team of fighters had a chance of destroying the Death Star?
of course they didn't. But they went to the Empire's home and fucked their shit up.
THE BAY are turning off the targeting computer as we speak, two torps are going in the exhaust, and we'll be off to the final

Northland pushed Canterbury in the QF (23-16) and Otago had chances to win the game the week before (27-21)

LOL, Brewis can't even make the bench of an NPC team.

@mariner4life love a good Star Wars analogy, but that doesn’t work in this scenario because we have the force.

He bought balance after he threw the emperor down hole. So BOP are the emperor?

firstly, wrong season, you have jumped ahead two seasons
secondly, in your analogy i think Scott Robinson is the emperor. And Darth Vader is the Canterbury Crusaders board.
Look, you're the Evil Empire. The Canterbury Patriots. The Christchurch Storm. Everyone wants you to lose. You are no one's 2nd team. Revel in it.

There ain't a soul on Planet Earth who supports Canterbury unless you have the misfortune of being born there.
Indeed, I have family who were born and grew up in the Saders catchment who support alternative Super teams.

@Chris Being the "villain" is awesome when you're winning!

Yep for sure ,
But as we know villains get wasted somewhere along the way,so enjoy while we can.
As we cop it when we lose.😉 -
Almost guaranteed to be in
-
-

I wasn't born in Canterbury I must be soul-less despite not being a ginger. Is that even possible?
-
@Crazy-Horse
No -
March them 10m if they act like that
-
Last 2 scrums, 2 penalties BOP
-
that knock on advantage lasted way longer than a pen advantage earlier
-
Quick! Call full time now while we're up 3 - 0
-
BOP getting smashed by the ref
-
Clear obstruction at that maul not called
-
The small bits I've seen of Canterbury in the npc, Williams has carried with a lot more dynamism and aggression, which was really lacking in his game in super rugby, hope he carries it through to next year. He can do TH too right?
-
BOP winning the contact but getting no reward

Hard when BOK pings not rolling away even when it's having no impact......
-
Up the Bay
-
But Hawera is pretty shit eh
-
Hopefully Lucas Cashmore gets some game time.
Surely a better option than journeyman Harewa.
