6 down for -95 and suddenly they're going to take a first innings lead. FFS...

Spoke too soon on the innings lead

Advantage Australia again as Head is going full Bazball.

So from 1 for a few overnight, we're now fucked.

Fall of wickets: 1-23 (Usman Khawaja, 5.5 ov), 2-65 (Travis Head, 12.6 ov), 3-85 (Steven Smith, 18.6 ov), 4-95 (Marnus Labuschagne, 21.4 ov), 5-95 (Matt Renshaw, 22.6 ov), 6-95 (Peter Handscomb, 23.1 ov), 7-95 (Pat Cummins, 23.2 ov)

    Fuck me.

Counter-counter point: there were some terrible shots in that innings I might add. Sure that ball kept low, but why was he playing it off the back foot like that, KNOWING it would be shit?

This could be an exciting finish.

A lot of runs still to get.

Can't help agree with Waugh - this is a very strange field setting - you need to be attacking to take wickets surely.

I’m surprised Sportsbet did post their odds on “a sweep” in that tweet…

Watched the highlights of Aussie 2nd innings. Some shot selection poor but the pitch was a joke. Basically cheating imho.

Indians didn't make the Australian batsmen throw their wickets away.

From the bits I saw, it looked like one of those pitches where you had to force yourself to play forward - almost regardless of what the initial read of the length tells you, or any back foot preferences. Easier said than done against Ashwin and Jadeja though.

Looks like future squad selections for Indian tours may need to mirror their likely LH/RH bat combinations to avoid one sided watering... not that we'll ever have that top order selection luxury.

India Australia test 3 kicks off. Arguably the biggest series in world cricket.

Anyhoo, pitch looks a day 3 turner already, Starc had two wickets in the first over if he reviewed them (he didn't; not out) and India rollicking along at 26/0 after 5 overs. It's not boring!

Got an indian mate stopping by later to watch some ... probably India racking upa massive total already. Spin introduced in the 6th over by Australia. A good toss to win.
