Crusaders Name Side for Brumbies Clash
The Crusaders have named their team to face the Brumbies on Friday 24 March at home. After a big win against the Blues at Eden Park in Round 4 last weekend, the team are riding high and ready to take on the currently-unbeaten Brumbies.

Good to see Gardiner back. Hopefully he gets an injury free run. He looked handy at the end of last year.

@ARHS the statistical likelihood of the Brumbies winning away to the Crusaders is probably lower than in any other game across the season. So makes sense to tick off a bunch of forced rest periods in a throw-away match.
And yeah SR is a fucking joke and we shouldn't have signed up for another 10 years of this nonsense.

Thought Patafilo would just make up the numbers. I was sorry to see him leave the Canes as he was good in last yrs NPC. Hope he performs well in his brief spell starting until better players return

I think the Brumbies had set this as a can't win, why they rested players this week, surely last week was the time to rest a few.. Not sure what the problem with the comp is, they do same in NH, as players have to last the season, and high attrition rate.

I agree, but it seems to be what they have done, we see it in WC where minnows play second stringers against top teams.
