Well what a drama filled final weekend that was - and very hard to score points in the tipping comp. https://thesilverfern.com/tipping/
And the winner is ..... @bayimports - Out of the top 20 with 3 weeks left, he picked 4/7 and scraped to 31 in the final week to rise from 6th to 1st and pick Victor by 4 points. The key was picking ManawatΕ« as low scorers which was an inspired choice and the 5 points clinched the victory. 5/7 for @taniwharugby and for @Paj with Paj top scoring with 39 - also a meteoric rise for him over the last 3 weeks to finish in the top 20 after being around the foot of the table. Only 1/7 for @Stockcar86 and a season low of 9 points. Plenty of us on 12 and 14 after picking 2/7.
Victor came 2nd and @Donsteppa and Plastered Peni shared 3rd place and a spot on the podium. Filling out the top 10 were @Dolamite in 5th ahead of @Waynes-World with Laurence and @Winger sharing 7th, @Kirwan 9th and @Kruse 10th.
In the final of the teams competition, Hawke's Bay and Wellington ended 19-19 but HB won on total points by 96 points to 93. Wairarapa Bush and Harbour-Auckland was also 19-19 with Bush winning 3rd place. Northland took 5th and South Island 7th leaving Counties-Waikato with the wooden spoon.
Finally Plastered Peni beat Higgins 60-47 to win the TSF Cup.

Although I am certain Captain @paj is 100% trustworthy in light of other events it might be wise for you to keep hold of the trophy to ensure it's safe keeping in the meantime as I cannot be sure the same applies to at least one other member of his teamFinally Plastered Peni beat Higgins 60-47 to win the TSF Cup.
It will be a challenge getting through the next short period avoiding Mr. PP as I am due to do some bookkeeping work for him so the likelihood of avoiding him for the next 136 years will be extremely remote!Anyway thanks again KP for a job very well done and special congratulations to @bayimports on his stunning late run of form to annex the title from defending champ @Crucial at the very last moment. In case anyone was wondering the TMO has cleared the rumour that his account has been hacked!

I did most of my thoughtless tipping every Monday, team lists be damned! only thing I did do consistently was bet against the poo. (lowest scorers) Anyway thanks @KiwiPie for organising and did not expect a win..Think I may have won an NPC tipping comp about 15 years ago..thats how consistent my tipping is
