England looking good. ABs very inaccurate with handling and lineouts. That missed try opportunity by Perofeta & Telea was horrid.

@gt12 He's playing like his bad 2022 form again.

    I'd get Aumua out there.

If we had more accuracy we would be up by more than 10. Shit lineouts, restarts, and general inaccuracy killing us.

Papalii having a blinder. Savea more involved, Scott Barrett doing lots of good stuff but not quite coming off. Rieko good on "both sides of the ball".

Regards the lineout I'd like to go back and when Itoje has his moments is that against Patty or Scott?

If England hadn't scored in that passage of play they would have gone in to oranges disappointed that they hadn't capitalised on the territorial and possession advantage.

Smith is having a very good game. Best 'Test' performance I've seen from him.

Kicks to the wing spot on. Identified that NZ are poor there.

    Deserved lead for England.

Dalton playing well. Finau anonymous again. Not ready.

Telea is so gone once Clarke is fit. (Smith will try that cross field kick to him again) in the 2nd half.

Huge opportunity for England to chalk up a win at "Fortress Eden Park".

Basically Cody losing this for us, wasted so many attacking lineouts

No blame for the others jumping too early, too late, getting beaten in the air, dropping the ball?

    @ACT-Crusader

Agreed. If the lineup works we are probably up by 7-10.

However, now that we are under pressure, I’m not even fixing that gets us over the line. It’s necessary, but not sufficient.

Finau does not look ready for this level yet. Ardie is a bit part player. Dalton is the pick and looks like the only accurate one out there.

Our aggressive defence in the middle of the field probably been our highlight, much better in contact than last week

So 4 or 5 lineouts lost and 7 turnovers? You can’t win test rugby when you keep gifting the ball back to the opposition.
