Dude. We played well. Was a hard fiest round game. That is a quality Tahs side and we fought well.

Landers should have had it in the bad.. Fakatava cost us a lot ...

Tahs played like a bunch of guys with no coach and no preseason who met in the car park

I get that and if it was fresh set of players and they were genuinely trying to implement a new game plan, I’d cop it. But it’s the same mistakes, by the same players, at the same moments. Its been an Otago issues, it’s been a Highlanders issue. I just don’t see that change in mindset or composure so the same mistakes will keep on happening

A fit squad, some better decisions by key personnel and the Clan are in the final eight.
Can't afford to keep carrying Fakatava's questionable decision making.

I'm content. Would have been good to steal it, but I saw enough to suggest we will upset teams along the way this year. Tahs won't be easy to beat in Sydney (you'd expect them to improve)
Our issues weren't tactical, and the side was well picked. Unfortunately, key injuries are hurting us. I suspect we do that easily with JRK at the back.
