@Frank That tweet proves that nobody actually knows the real story here.
Not sure how you can categorically state that there is no foreign disinformation going on here.
The Biden camp not making denials could mean that they aren't lowering themselves. Could also mean that some of the topics are 'true' and don't want to get embroiled in explaining them away even the ones which have explanations.
The pressure here is not enough to force their hand. No one trusts a word Rudy says and this is being seen as a desperate throw of the dice.
It's pretty much common knowledge that the Russians and probably the Chinese have tried to create disinformation campaigns on social media in other elections including the 2016 US one. It is hardly a leap to think they are still at it. Probably isn't even that difficult to pull the wool over the eyes of people in the twitterverse. Everytime I see tweets they are filled with CAPITAL LETTERS and !!!! for emphasis. Real kids level stuff

@Crucial last time around the polls were wrong. It will be interesting to see if history repeats
Can’t find the link but some guy in the states who predicted Trumps win in 2016 has come out and said his data points to another win this time as well.
Made the good point you can’t always trust polls, people don’t always give the true answer.
Where as he goes off social media etc, comments and posts where people tend to be more upfront and speak their minds ( only have to see the replies in a Trump tweet to see that)im sure i read somewhere about a study that showed there are LOADS of people that are just embarressed to admit they'll vote for trump....so i wont be overly surprised
Embarassed and worried about being targetted/attacked/losing their jobs.
....and polling companies are releasing personal details of those that indicate a Rep vote? Don't think so. Lots of the polls are impersonal now as well.
I get that face to face some people could be shy, but in a poll? What we saw last election was everything bar one State running close to the polls (within margin of error). The margin accounts for these people.
A late switch in one state based on stupidity by Clinton being taken advantage of by Trump. The general media narrative was that Clinton had it in the bag but the polls didn't really paint that picture at all when you look back at them.
A friend of a friend from Phoenix, Arizona posted this on Facebook. Mad if true.

@TeWaio Texas? I'd have thought it would have been about the other guy than Trump.
That might be a failed validity test

Actually sorry looking closer at the original post, it was my friend from Texas sharing something his friend from Phoenix, Arizona received. I shall edit.

@TeWaio that's screwed up, there are crazies on both sides over there and fewer in the middle right now
Nah. I think that the crazies just shout louder.
I know plenty of 'middle ground' folk who are simply waiting/ hoping for the noise to eventually die down.

That pamphlet looks pretty sus to me. Strikes me as something created to engender sympathy for Trump supporters, rather than a legitimate doc.
Both sides are reaping what they have sowed in this election. So now I don't believe anything put forward by either side.
-
pamphlet also does't mention anything about polling info being passed around which was the original point

I agree with that but it wouldn't surprise me at all if real.
Social media attitudes of trolling and abuse have permeated society unfortunately.

Latest polls for Ohio suggest the fat lady hasn't made up her mind.
Most recent must have a shift to Trump as the rolling (reducing) polls over the last months have it neck and neck (it was trending Biden up until today)
Interesting. Still an overall 'loss' to Trump from 2016 but maybe enough to hold it.

As you know, Ohio is a reliable bell weather of the result. Trump seems to specialise at coming storming through in home straight.
Wonder how much tonight’s debate will influence things?

Interesting list of names in this email
Fox News reported Thursday morning:
A list of “key domestic contacts” for a joint venture involving Jim and Hunter Biden and now-bankrupt CEFC China Energy Co. included former Vice President Joe Biden’s current running mate Sen. Kamala Harris, among other prominent Democrats, Fox News has learned. An email exclusively obtained by Fox News, with the subject line “Phase one domestic contacts/ projects” and dated May 15, 2017, Biden’s brother, Jim Biden, shared a list of “key domestic contacts for phase one target projects.” The list, included Harris, D-Calif.; Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y.; Sen. Amy Klobuchar, D-Minn.; Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif.; Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, D-N.Y.; New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo; New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio; former Virginia Gov. Terry McCauliffe, among others. It is unclear if any of the Democrats were ever contacted about the “target projects.”

Wow wee! What a last few days of releases!
Evidence of dodgy Biden deals for monetary gain. Ex business partner flipping sharing another huge tranche of emails confirming original accusations and the 'big guy' Joe Biden's involvement. Hunter now not only a degenerate crack-head but also implicated in potential possession of child-porn at best or at worst involved in such and potentially with a family member. Dem's and much MSM still crying "Muh russia!!!" despite authenticity of details now confirmed from multiple sources including the FBI. Other outlets simply choosing (NPR openly) not to cover this. Social media still suppressing news and banning those who discuss or share it (NYPost's twitter is still suspended, don't by Jack Dorsey's bullshit policy change), google employees now on hidden camera providing further confirmation of intentional election interference. Suggestions other Dem's implicated including "O" whomever that could possibly be.
I mean it's not as iron tight as WasPo or NYT's "anonymous sources say" or anything
Bring on the debate!
-
@Rembrandt ah, the good old 'sources' at x, y, z have confirmed? links man, I want links
-
@Paekakboyz Ha if you're seriously interested I'll put in the time to collate them
Debate was a huge improvement. Moderator was very good too. In my mind unlike the first one this was a clear win for Trump. Will it sway voters? Maybe. Biden for periods was stuttery and uncomfortable, Trump was on form and surprisingly precise. The laptop from hell was bought up multiple times, Biden naturally went to "Muh russian disinformation campaign!"..which I think even diehard liberals are a bit over now. Even with the suppression it won't take undecided voters long to find the contents of this laptop.
Favourite part of the night. Biden confusing Trump and Abraham Lincoln and calling Lincoln a racist..and then the look on Biden's face when Trump called him out on it.
Terrific theatre

I didn't see it - could you tell when he was "muting" them? I like the idea of a STFU button with a red light that comes on the TB to let us know who was told off.
That is great innovation to stop two deliquents arguing.
I should know - a bit like here really.
