@MN5 you need to learn the difference between grey and silver!
He might be Australian?
They get colours and metals mixed up all the time.
that's not bad
I try.
My wife tells me that I am trying, but I think she means something else... -

@taniwharugby ah man that's awful the little shits, hope TRjnr and his mate are OK and their confidence isn't knocked too much by it all. 😢 Girls can be just as bad from what I hear.

Have heard that the boys who mugged TR Jnr and smacked his mate have apparently been apprehended this week, charged and now referred to Youth Aid.
So on one hand shows our Police do good work, its the next step in regard to court handing down punishments where the public often have grounds to complain.
I doubt we will be notified as to the outcome given thier ages, but hopefully if whatever happens stops them stabbing someone in the future, then great...

So yesterday was one of the shittest I have had as a Dad.
TR Jnr and his mate were in town, in a reasonably busy area, and they were sitting on a bench and 2 boys, maybe a year or so older approached them, one smacked his mate in the head, the other made TR Jnr give him his hat, jersey and shoes, asked for his phone but TR Jnr played dumb, and they got distracted and left.
The dude that took his stuff claimed he was homeless and life was tough and thats why he was doing it.
His mate had a cut below his eye.
I was on my way to see a client when he called to tell me about it, so I turned around and got him, drove round town a bit, couldnt see them. Mrs TR picked him up and they went to the cops, much to TR Jnr's protesting.
His mate was down there too.
These boys were caught on CCTV camera, and likely involved in another similar incident soon after.
I went for a wander round town again while he was at the cops, but didnt see anyone matching his descriptions, and I looked for areas where they may have dumped the stuff (cos TR Jnr said there was no way they'd fit his shoes)
Just makes me so mad, lucky I didnt happen across them while on my search, otherwise I would likely have got in more trouble.
TR Jnr is more worried that he was literally scared stiff, didnt know what to do.
After him walking me through it, I have told him, it was the right thing to do just giving them his stuff, it was just clothes, his mate came off worse!
His mate had been punched and was on the ground by the other guy, if he'd cracked this guy in the balls or smashed his nose, chances are, his mate on the ground woulda copped it more.
This kind of petty random shit has always gone on (I had it happen to me in my teens) but by god it made me so fucking mad yesterday, I dunno what I'd of done if I found the little fluffybunnies, but I dont expect it woulda been just walk them to the cops.
What pieces of shit.
They will have 100% known they'd be caught on CCTV, but the problem is they know the law and what cops can and can't do, so they think they're untouchable because they're under age.

Did he have a take?
Cos if he was telling you that the Nets are going all the way now, you need to take him to the driveway/ local hoop, and post him up repeatedly, sweat on him, jump hooks, drop steps, elbows to the face, block his lame ass over and over.
Got to set a standard.

The boy is the ultimate bandwagon jumper. Loved the warriors. Is now a total lakers boy. And I sledge him mercilessly for it.
His take was like all 12 year old boys. All he sees is 3 great scorers and called it OP

@mariner4life it is cool and I loved it. That is until I started getting messages containing gifs and memes of how great Lebron is.

Well we've gone from 2 to 3 and it's a way, way bigger adjustment than 1 - 2. We're outnumbered now and that makes lots of things harder as one of us will always have to be watching at least two of the little nutters when we go out. Also looking at our options with cars as we are starting to feel a bit cramped, I'm tempted to get a fucking massive van so we can ride around in comfort instead of trying to cram everything into our wagon. Especially if we want to do any road trips.

Team, I am so fucked. Missus is back at work from Monday. Ms 4 goes back to childcare and Mr Just turned 1 will be starting childcare (same place as his sis). Luckily work and childcare is local, but I work in the city so I have zero chance of getting to work on time for the forseeable future. Ms 4 generally sleeps through, but Jnr is still up a couple of times a night.
Zombie parent mode enabled.
Advice, thoughts and prayers? drugs!!? I'll take it!!

Cocaine, but don't throw the kids in the air inside.
