Little things like that make parenting almost worthwhile

Did he have a take?
Cos if he was telling you that the Nets are going all the way now, you need to take him to the driveway/ local hoop, and post him up repeatedly, sweat on him, jump hooks, drop steps, elbows to the face, block his lame ass over and over.
Got to set a standard.

The boy is the ultimate bandwagon jumper. Loved the warriors. Is now a total lakers boy. And I sledge him mercilessly for it.
His take was like all 12 year old boys. All he sees is 3 great scorers and called it OP

Shit, I'll confess, what is OP?
Cut your lad some slack, he's only 12 - and he is backing a winner in LA....

@mariner4life it is cool and I loved it. That is until I started getting messages containing gifs and memes of how great Lebron is.

Well we've gone from 2 to 3 and it's a way, way bigger adjustment than 1 - 2. We're outnumbered now and that makes lots of things harder as one of us will always have to be watching at least two of the little nutters when we go out. Also looking at our options with cars as we are starting to feel a bit cramped, I'm tempted to get a fucking massive van so we can ride around in comfort instead of trying to cram everything into our wagon. Especially if we want to do any road trips.

Team, I am so fucked. Missus is back at work from Monday. Ms 4 goes back to childcare and Mr Just turned 1 will be starting childcare (same place as his sis). Luckily work and childcare is local, but I work in the city so I have zero chance of getting to work on time for the forseeable future. Ms 4 generally sleeps through, but Jnr is still up a couple of times a night.
Zombie parent mode enabled.
Advice, thoughts and prayers? drugs!!? I'll take it!!

Cocaine, but don't throw the kids in the air inside.

@Hooroo I hear you get a free baggy when you order a Nigella cookbook. Fucking game on lads
Handy when you need to cream the butter!

@MN5 ha ha gold. But only as things turned out well in the end... aside from that crazy lady speed bump... which was probably still a lot of fun at the time
Think fatal attraction with less bunnies boiled
-
@Paekakboyz no magic elixir bro, just gotta keep going, it does get better, then once you think you got it nailed, something changes and have a whole set of different challenges..TBH, it never really gets easier, just different.
One thing I would say though, whatever happens, dont hold grudges from what you and wife might say in middle of the night while under the influence of baby tiredness, you are on the same team!
-
@taniwharugby one bit we do have going well is the team parenting. We tend to manage our tiredness/grumpiness pretty well and both know the signs of when it's time to give the other person a break from the kids.
I hear ya though, think you've got a routine going and boom - fucking teeth show up or some other developmental milestone that brings oodles of joy lol.
