@jegga Yeah - I doubt there's many crying actual tears.
Is the request for the community to help fund his legal bills actually a form of socialism?
For sure and does having his right side paralysed make him a lefty now?
I stole that from the standard and am now going to hell .

Some of you guys really are unpleasant. Someone having a stroke is something i would not wish on anyone. It is devastating.
-
@Baron-Silas-Greenback Who said anyone wished it on him?
I'm not glad he had a stroke, but I can't say I can muster much sympathy for him.

That says more about you than him. One day maybe someone you care about will suffer a stroke at a yoing age with a young family and you will revisit your levity over these things.
I have seen the devastation it can cause to a young family, let alone the victim.
Nobody is demanding sympathy , your perogative to not feel it and actually perfectly normal. But you and some others have gone further and are just being ignorant dicks with your so called jokes.... again your choice... free speech and all that. But my choice to think you are knobs for it.
My first thought when I read about it was for what his family was going through, not politics. -
I feel sympathy for CS - I would hate to be trapped in a body that was betraying itself and I speak from having had experience as the primary caregiver for someone in exactly those circumstances.
However at the back of my mind I can't help remembering things like Slater wishing a heart attack had killed its victim and all the malicious BS he invented at times.
I don't believe in fate/karma etc but maybe with hindsight some of Slaters anger and energy should have been directed at addressing his own obvious health issues
-
I don’t think there’s any need to be outraged on Slaters behalf, it’s not like he ever pulled any punches in fact this is his motto
“I play politics like Fijians play rugby. My role is smashing your face into the ground,"
It’s also telling that in the blog post about his stroke he said just enough to infer the herald were hounding him but of course wouldn’t name the actual journalist so he got to smear everyone on their investigative team .
It’s also worth remembering this is the same guy who made out he was competing in a charity boxing match out of the goodness of his heart when it later turned out it was part of his community service for getting caught paying some incel to hack into the standard. I’m sure he had a stroke whether or not he’s trying to use it to get out of his lawsuits that were bought about by his hounding on behalf of various lobbies is another question

Hopefully he will pick up some useful tips on how to improve the way women are treated by the delegates from Iran and Egypt.

Ireland echoed Little's concerns around the rights of women and said the country was "concerned at the levels of domestic violence in New Zealand especially against women".
That's a bit fucking rich:
-
In a 2014 study entitled 'Violence against women: An EU-wide survey' by the European Union Fundamental Rights Agency (FRA), it was reported that 14% of women in Ireland have experienced physical violence by a partner since age 15. 6% of Irish women have experienced sexual violence by a current or former partner and 31% of women have experienced psychological violence by a partner. 12% of Irish respondents in the FRA study had experienced stalking (including cyber stalking).
-
The FRA survey revealed that Ireland has the second highest number of women avoiding places or situations for fear of being assaulted out of all EU countries. 33% of Irish respondents thought that violence against women was very common, and 50% thought it was fairly common. 41% of Irish women know someone in their circle of family or friends who have experienced intimate partner violence (FRA, 2014).

Someone needs to find the box that Helen Clark put all the established Labour MPs balls in and return them. Little is a sad excuse for a man

He’s got a point , you can hit a kid on his bike after you’ve been drinking and smoking pot , drive away without checking to see if the kid is ok , go to the panel beaters the next day to assess the damage and then finally go to the cops and end up only getting sentenced to home detention.
That’s what he’s talking about when he says the justice system is broken right?

@taniwharugby You can be a drug dealing scumbag and get a mate to text Jacko to stop your deportation!
