It’s Norfolk. That is probably just some of the locals. -

Quick setting epoxy filler which isn't and disk-cloning software which doesn't.
Firstly. Currently waiting 3hrs for some 1 hr epoxy filler to set.....
Second, cloned a 512GB SSD to a 1Tb yesterday to find the fucking software creates a partition on the new SSD exactly the same size as the old one - 512GB. It then created and locked a new partition that couldn't be deleted in Windows Disk Manager. Had to dig out old DOS commands to delete the bloody thing.
Fire these pricks.

I'm pissed off that quick- setting epoxy filler is taking over 4 hours to set.
And some software which promised to make installing a new hard drive easy turned out to be shit.
And the people who sold me this shit to me should be fired.

Starting a project with a new client and as part of the on-boarding, having to sit through a couple of hours of HR speeches. For some reason we've been lumped in with actual employees. And there's a DEI segment with what appears to be a young Elle MacPherson running it.
Just kidding. She looks exactly like you'd expect.

HR are a necessary evil; but I've never met one who wasn't a self-aggrandising, narcissistic, empire builder who thinks they put in a hard day
mentoringchattingwasting other peoples time. There is a colossal difference between HR folks depending on their level.
Senior: Firm first, screw the workers, act like in love with the CEO
Mid: Power trip, narcissistic, arse kiss of Senior HR, waste of space for both the firm & the workers.
Junior: Lovely, often quite hot, nervous & naive -
So looking at next running event. London now does something called The Big Half which looks like could be a lot of fun. Here's the sales pitch:
Organised by London Marathon Events, The Big Half is a vibrant, inclusive half marathon with a fun, festival atmosphere. The 13.1 mile course weaves through London from Tower Bridge to the iconic Cutty Sark in Greenwich.
I'll pass, thanks.
