When I was doing consulting with some Native American guys they had two factions, one that were convinced that Kilmer was native, and the other convinced he wasn't.

Akin to our “Is Rieko Ioane a centre” factions.

He played a Native American FBI agent in Thunderheart, I liked that film back in the day. Also starred Sam Shepard and Graham Greene.

    Great movie

    Tombstone.

    👍 👍

The script should've killed Powers Booth last though.

    Pretty cool set of credits

The Ghost and the Darkness is an underrated classic. Hamy as hell but fuck its good

Was great to see and hear(sort of) Val in Top Gun: Maverick. Such a great scene

    Apr 7  /  Music

Clem Burke, Blondie’s drummer and ‘heartbeat’, dies aged 70

Clem Burke, Blondie’s drummer and ‘heartbeat’, dies aged 70

Debbie Harry and Chris Stein, founding members of the new wave hitmakers, pay tribute to their late bandmate

    Great title to the article

If you don’t start tapping your feet when a Blondie song starts then you’re half dead

If you don’t like Blondie then you don’t like music

The ABBA of the new wave scene

    That’s a massive compliment btw

They’ll still be played and danced to 50 years from now

grew out of the NY punk scene and by all accounts at the start they absolutely stunk.

But as Mike says, grew into a phenomenal band.

I saw Blondie at the Auckland Town Hall around the turn of the century. They were outstanding, and Debbie Harry was pure rock n roll, standing there during the encore in her black tights with the tag hanging out of her cup of tea

She was getting on, but still had a great voice and great stage presence. So much confidence

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Dr. John "Doc" Mayhew (ONZM).
He peacefully passed away this afternoon, surrounded by loved ones, following recent heart complications.
The family kindly requests privacy during this time.

    Harbour legend

Remember watching him at #4 in the lineout doing opposed drills at AB training at Onewa in 94. Was pretty handy too.

Hugely influential on sports medicine in NZ. Way too young

    RIP Pope Frank.

A bit of a rebel. Apparently he appointed abut 80% of the cardinals who will vote so that's going to make things interesting
