Brumbies v Crusaders

There's something about that stadium that just sucks the life out of ... well everything.
God it's just boring and lacking any atmosphere.
Hate watching matches from Canberra.
I won't even make the effort to go out there. A cold, windy hole in the ground miles from everything and anything. No bars, no restaurants around it.
The exact opposite of Suncorp Stadium.

Stan commentary still complaining about referee decisions. Classless fluffybunnies.
You complain about refereeing decisions all the time

Felt at the time that the Brumbies made the wrong call to go for the 3 with four minutes left as they had all the momentum at that stage. Let the Crusaders off the hook imo and gave them field position with the kickoff. Don't think the Crusaders would have come back had the Brumbies scored a try then.
Agree totally. The dinosaurs who always say take the 3 never think about the context of what happens next.
Also not setting up for a drop goal to win it was a mistake

Sure, we all whinge about refs — it’s part of being a fan of the game. But when paid commentators bang on like sore losers, it stops being banter and starts undermining the game. There’s a difference between entertaining a passionate audience and throwing a public tantrum in the commentary box. One’s fan passion at worst, the other’s just bad broadcasting IMO which degrades the product.

And this is why they aren't getting any Lions games.
Get a proper stadium.
Any World Cup games, I think you mean?

Ah yes so I did.
Lions on the mind with the tour starting next month

Would be pretty funny if the Lions avoided lining up a game against the best Australian club simply because they didn't like Canberra.

So who are the brumbies and saders most likely to play next week?
Brumbies v Hurricanes and the Crusaders v Reds.

It was so interesting to watch - all the Aussie commentators just climbed in but then when they showed the video it didn’t seem to support their view. And from another perspective so much was happening at the ruck it was very easy to justify multiple penalties. Talk from Commentators was about how the ref wasn’t up to it. Very poor form given their position. From a fan I understand (I kept seeing Brumbies folding around the side of rucks) but these guys seem so desperate for a win they lost all objectivity. You would expect better.

"Once there is separation, it doesn't matter which way it goes, it's a knock on"
Seriously??

The talk of Reihana as a bolter is a bit premature IMO.
That said, he is tracking well, and a much more assured player than last year, when he retuned to Northland, seemed almost broken, and what I heard, devoid of confidence.
So different this year, same with Kemara when he was playing, the difference, IMO, the role JOC has played, his influence on and off the park would seem to be massive, and this has spread beyond just these 2.
Like most of the team, both these kids struggled last season, sure the Crusaders stil have some issues but they have taken big strides since last year, confidence is always a massive factor too, I dont think you can undervalue what JOC has bought to the team, and I think the flip side is that being in this mentor type role has given him a bit of life too.

That’s a shocking quote from Burke. Man Morgan is a whinger.
How many times have Kiwi sides been on the wrong side of bad calls over the years in Aussie?

If it's not premature then he's hardly a bolter 😉

By my count there is still 34 more favourable decisions to go in the Saders favour to make up for that abomination in the final minutes of the 2014 Super rugby final ….
