I wouldn’t read too much into this. Lions will be a different team once Finn Russell and Blair Kinghorn are in the starting line up.

    They’ll still beat Australia 3-0

Yeah while it was still a good team they put out against Argentina, there's probably only a few guys in there that will start in the first Test - there might only be one survivor in the backline.

    You are indeed correct.

Thought Smith had butchered that.. but well worked try and a couple of soft tackles

Me two forward passes in build up.

Pretty embarrassing as a ref when your 2 meters away looking straight at the ball and you miss that🤦‍♂️

Doleman did that last week when Reds shelled it as they went over. That time the TMO didn’t realise Doleman had cataracts, so failed to check.

In super rugby, foul play responsibility has been completely abdicated to the bunker too.

A default yellow and passing of buck to the TMO.

    It sucks.

That was a really fun watch.

    Excellent ball movement.

The fact it was played in daylight in nice temperatures is not a coincidence.

By Doleman standards he was pretty good - only he would miss that knock on though haha.

I thought James Doleman was below his best. Seemed to miss a bit and always had an advantage back for Lions when they infringed.
Are Fin Smith, Mitchell and Marcus Smith the front liners in backline?
Thought VDM and Freeman were always a threat. LCD was good in forwards.
But best thing in match was the flair in the Argentinian backs in my view.

It was funny seeing wonderboy Pollock miss a crucial tackle and then spill the ball at the end.

    Awesome

So many w@nkers in this lions team and coaching staff

I hope the aussies smash them

    Explain further.

Surely there's no one at Clive Woodward level or the guy who accused Umaga and Mealamu of attempted murder ?

Team with limited time together versus team with experience together. The result isn't a shock.

I doubt whether the Lions will play like that down here. It'll be forward -oriented phase play ala Ireland & England

He tried to hand the game to the Lion's but failed.

Truly appalling missed tackle by Henry Pollock at 3:25. Terrible technique meant the "wonder boy" was left sitting on his arse by a lighter player.

Hopefully in a few years Los Pumas assistant coach Kendrick Lynn can return home 🙂

That last Pumas try was a cracker! Young Pollock won't want to see that on review come Monday. Terrible miss by a loose forward.
