British Lions v Argentina

I thought James Doleman was below his best. Seemed to miss a bit and always had an advantage back for Lions when they infringed.
Are Fin Smith, Mitchell and Marcus Smith the front liners in backline?
Thought VDM and Freeman were always a threat. LCD was good in forwards.
But best thing in match was the flair in the Argentinian backs in my view. -

Awesome
So many w@nkers in this lions team and coaching staff
I hope the aussies smash them
Explain further.
Surely there's no one at Clive Woodward level or the guy who accused Umaga and Mealamu of attempted murder ?

That last Pumas try was a cracker! Young Pollock won't want to see that on review come Monday. Terrible miss by a loose forward.

Team with limited time together versus team with experience together. The result isn't a shock.
I doubt whether the Lions will play like that down here. It'll be forward -oriented phase play ala Ireland & England
I think they should. Both wingers looked good and young Marcus Smith has a good passing game. IMO he needs to be at five-eight as his defence makes Shaun Stevenson look like prime JC.

They've got some very dangerous wings still to play too.

Not entirely sure why the Lions tried to play BaaBaaBaz ball, some crazy offloading, some poor decisions all over the field.
Feel for Marcus Smith, that’s him out of the test 23 IMO. Will be interesting to see how Pollock copes with being the reason they lost.
Centre combo was a waste of space.
Not sure what to make of that from a style point of view, doesn’t fill me with confidence

Playing two crash ballers in the midfield was never going to work.

Tell me you don't watch 6N rugby without telling me.

I'm really not sure of the value of a game such as this, with a swathe of players either not available or not considered due to domestic commitments. Money i guess but in terms of preparation it seems something of a waste of time.
As to the game itself, what did we actually learn?
That both Aki and Tuipolotu are good players but do not complement each other - but we knew that.
That Bealham was originally not even third choice - but we knew that.
That playing three 7s in the back row fucks up the balance - but we knew that.
That Marcus Smith is a mercurial player and you'd want him on the park but he's not really a fullback - but we knew that.

Lol who watches that snore fest?
They clearly didn’t compliment each other. Maybe it works against slow Northern sides but that combination didn’t work today.

His main job is to not lose the mascot or he will get fined.

Oh you're that guy who's never watched a player or team but knows exactly how they play. Superb analysis.
