Great call, fans being "nervous" as if they have some crucial part to play in proceedings has always baffled me.

God forbid someone support their team? We moan about fan engagement but when someone feels nervous about a game it doesn't make sense? It's good that people are ride or die for their team.

Personally I'm shitting myself and have been on edge all day so far.

Absolutely be passionate but yeah, the nervous thing doesn't make too much sense to me.

To be fair I got that way after the 2007 WC quarter final.

But......Go Chiefs, will be hoping your boys do it !

Fk come on the Chiefs, can’t stand to see the Crusaders lift the bloody trophy again playing scrum, maul, scrum.

@MN5 I guess after losing 2 grand finals in a row being on edge is probably the PTSD in me.

Nerves make sense to me - for a lot of people I'd guess it is part of being "passionate" about a team

Should be a close one either way tonight - brain (annoyingly) says the Crusaders for me, heart very much the Chiefs.

As an AB fan I want to see DMac put in a commanding performance at 10. He needs to stamp his mark.

I just want the ABs to play well and stay uninjured - and as a bonus, someone like Leroy Carter to have a stormer and force the selectors' hand.

    lol was waiting for that.

I think we all knew I was referring to ABs greats and a player like Mounga… then you throw in a Bryn Hall with them. Apologies if that wasn’t obvious enough….

Why not throw Bryn Hall in he was there like the others I said ex Players not legends, I was letting
Crusaders supporters know who was there.

Oh mate come on… I know. It wasn’t intended as disrespectful, more pointing out what I stated above. Just a bit of laugh, it is the fern after all.

Have the Chiefs got Saders fans on edge early? 😉

Yep they have me on edge Nervous as Fuck for this one.

    Why? Are you playing?

    Fucking feels like it.

The home record of the Crusaders and the last game at the ground vibe all scream Crusaders win. And yet, there is hope 🙂

Looks like the southwesterly has gone, still clear night in here the capital of the mainland.

Different conditions to game the against the Brumboys, where we had complete control.

The Mighty is back in time for Matariki, think the Cowbell-fuckers will avoid scrums.

    WE WILL WIN IF:
Scrum holds. Shalfoon, Barrett, Blackadder and Lil' Willie can get in early pressure on the Chiefs loosies, then Syrup McKenzie flakes under pressure (as we all well know happens when it gets tough). Reece, Jordan and Springer catch all their high balls and Ratima wins the kicking battle because DMc will shank it off his ankle at a key time. O'Connor comes on to kick the ceremonial.

Not looking good for the Chiefs tonight, Hastings Boys lost (robbed), not the Warriors are getting done like they're the Warriors of old. It's the Crusaders to lose tonight. 😆

I’ll be over the moon if we win, but more important is not seeing the Chiefs hold aloft that trophy. Would make me 🤮

I'm picking the Crusaders to win by 2 points or fewer.
