Btw you can't compare Blackadder to McCaw. McCaw had played 100 tests by Blackadders age to Blackadders 14.
Finau is explosive. Jacobson, Papalii (as cover for Jacobson), Barrett and Vaai simply are not - so it's pretty hard to take the statement seriously.
You can keep your McCaw straw man too thanks. -

Explosiveness isn't binary. It's a spectrum.
All of those players have various levels of explosiveness to their carry - even Blackadder. They're all more explosive compared to Blackadder.
The selectors have said they want to see more explosiveness.
We will have to agree to disagree.

Even Fletcher Newell is explosive on the carry.
Granted I’m talking compared to someone standing still but it’s still comparable

as much as in principle an international is more prestigious than a super game.....i dont blame any of them playing in the final, i think any player would have. and for injures that need treatment and being out for 6-8 weeks, that was going to effect the French series regardless
