Penalty advantage - why don't we keep it in hand and build pressure.

Nice. Now the French have to chance their arm.

Even if we kick this, we will have to exit.

Very passive defence today. None of the starting loose forwards are strong tacklers. Vaa'i is much better in close.

Why take three when that probably gives them possession in our half?

Would France have been able to bring in a replacement if the winger didn’t go off with an HIA?

I guess too early to make this call definitively, but I was hoping to see more focus and intent from the second year in with this coaching team. Other than helter skelter, what’s the game plan?

Which usually means squeaky bum time for AB supporters….

Nothing kick from BB and we lose huge ground, put France hard on attack

Was just thinking that... how much of tonight is traditional first AB test rustiness, and how much is something deeper...

You have to admire the French being right in this. They looked like they were out for the count several times there. How the hell is this so close??

Uncontroversial opinion: playing AU and NZ sort sides is no preparation for the physicality of French Rugby

France haven’t made many mistakes tonight, but that one was a bloody important one from an AB point of view
