Foley unlikely to return due to concussion issues.

Not that it matters: Gibson can pick whoever he wants, as only the the winning margin will change.

    @NTA Are you sure?

A final decision is yet to be made on Bernard Foley, however the five-eighth looks likely to return while halfback Jake Gordon and No 12 David Horwitz are expected to retain their positions.

I find it hard to believe that proper duty of care for a player can result in him missing 3 games for concussion, coming back for 1, then being out again but cool to play the week after that.

So at this point in the week I'm skeptical.

@NTA was a piece on the radio this morning, Sam Cane said he passed the concussion tests after his knock last week, so technically coulda been free to return to the field, but knew he didn't feel right so took himself off.

@NTA thing is I guess with pressures form medical teams and then if you were a player competing for a starting spot, you may make a rash decision.

But then Cane did say players are more aware of the issues as most of them know someone who is struggling with it, so is always front of mind.

Apparently Laulala was the same, no one really saw his, and he said at halftime he didn't feel right.

    🤔

Head Coach Daryl Gibson said Foley’s symptoms of concussion from the injury six weeks ago have resolved and other symptoms related to his neck are also improving, with ongoing treatment of his neck.

“Bernard has been given the clearance after further expert reviews, including a review with neurologist, and treatment over the course of the last week.

This might be closer than we think . Foley, Horne and the huge Fijian winger will be a boost to the Tahs, and the Canes will definitely miss the Savea brothers. Might be the game of the round.

The Tahs have changed the line-up. Rob Horne has been ruled out after this afternoon's training.

Israel Folau moves to 13, Bryce Hegarty starts at fullback and Irae Simone takes his place on the bench.

That big winger is a defensive liability. My advice to the Canes is this - like they haven't figured it out already: kick through down the left wing.

What is it with rangy NSW country bred forwards, raised on dirt and barbed wire. Hannigan could be Stu Pinkerton v2.0

Had the chance to watch him live on the weekend - certainly handy at the lineout and gets through some work. Don't want him to fill out too much but a haircut wouldn't go astray.

Canes score in less than 2 minutes. Can't see this being anything other than a cricket score

Surely that should've been a penalty for not releasing the ball.
