But here it is

"Coxhead claimed it changed the molecular structure of the immune system so the water could penetrate to the bone, then to the cancer cells."
I liked this quote:
"Kim noted that analytical chemistry measurements were not capable of detecting any "mystical properties that the solution might be held to possess, such as ability to alter the quantum structure of the water"."Which segues naturally to The Infinite Monkey Cage:
For some reason this reminded me of a name from the 1970s that middle aged Ferners may recall: Milan Brych.
Not sure anyone ever worked out what his "cure" was meant to be but in my googling just now I came across this:
http://cancerforum.org.au/article/2005/november/medical-oncology-group-of-australia-pierre-fabre-cancer-achievement-award/ from 2005.Also related I see a headline the Belle Gibson has copped a $30K fine.

A bit more on the Te Kiri Gold scam.

@Tim Wow. Just wow. I mean, I get people trying something alternative that has achieved some sort of result. But this is just gross. It's water from a dairy farmer and a dodgy doctor with a massive conflict of interest. Also, fuck that dude who claims false hope is some sort of hope so is a good thing.

Meads is top of my list of people I'd love to have a beer with but I wouldn't go to him for health or financial advice .
Good on stuff for following up the nonsense about the enchanted water, once again these people are just shysters.
The herald has followed it up today. Every time an article about vaccinations or woo medical treatments shows up the comments are filled with people Wingerising about big pharma or fuckwits who invent people who's herpes was cured by enchanted cabbage leaves . Here we have this guy saying he had a guy with a melanoma so big you could see his skull through it and his water cured it. You'd think science would be all over that wouldn't you?

@Tim Not sure this qualifies for this thread as despite being a clickbait sensationalist story it's actually the sort of stuff news outlet should be doing: exposing the cons and fraudsters.
I thought "Conspiracy" theories as below:

Maybe we should have a Woo thread so we can point and laugh at the weirdos.
Seems both Stuff and the Herald have TKG in their sights. Good on them.

Good call, can we do that?

This nutter got fined $30000 in court costs for her cancer scam, when she was younger she claimed to have had extensive heart surgery and then posted photos of herself in a bikini. She laid low for a while after a few people asked where her scars were, open heart surgery tends to leave a mark after all.

You'd think she'd have learned after twice being outed as a fraud but she's at it again

Coxy is taking the water too now

Yea I guess you try whatever you can...some changes can prolong your life in some people...I know of a couple of examples where 2-3 month left to live predictions went on 2 10 years and one had weeks to live went on for another 3 years.

@Paekakboyz sad for her kid, god knows sort of batshit stuff she's telling/feeding it. The heart stuff came out on some forum she went on trolling for sympathy, you're right she's in a weird online universe she's created for herself.
