Camille Pagila on US politics.

GREAT debate and explanation about the obstruction of justice situation.
From CNN to give credit. -
@phoenetia said in US Politics:
Live updates on the Georgia / South Carolina special election results are coming in.
As pollsters predicted, its awfully close in Georgia but I would assume that the Republicans will win both
50 million spent on the Georgia campaign. 50 million!!!!
Dems spent 7 times as much as the republicans. And looking like they lost with not much change to the 2016 result.

The divide within the Democrat party seems to be very serious. Ossoff was a Pelosi-corporate Democrat. But the progressives of the party are too far left for mainstream US society.
Clinton lost this district to Trump by just 1.5%.
Handel won by 3.8%I follow a guy who was heavily involved in this election for the Republicans.
He said a few things affected it in the last few days -- The Steve Scalise shooting
- And the Ossoff- Kathy Griffin ad
-
Democrats can't even buy an election.
-
Here's a headline we don't see enough in the New York Times:
-
What do they expect when they put forward a 30 year old twig boy latte drinker who doesn't even live in the district he was running for?
You'd think with all the money they pumped in, they'd at least go for a reasonable candidate.

Trump implied there might be tapes a few months back because he was worried Comey would lie in his testimony. Turns out.....no tapes -lol
I think Mueller and Rosenstein would both have to recuse themselves if they begin to investigate Trump for obstruction.
-
almost wonder if he does some of this stuff deliberately to see what the media writes
-
@taniwharugby It is well described: a golf etiquette atrocity. The question for me is; does he have the same lack of care for other things he owns?
-
@taniwharugby Anyone else find they like him more after articles like these? Something so Eric Cartman "f$#k you, I'll do what I want!" like about it that seems so contrary to every other lily livered politician. Also loved his barging to the front of that international photo op a few werks back, he is the star and he knows it.
Having said that, would I want him running NZ? Nope.
-
@Rembrandt nah not really, doesn't change my opinion either way.
But in this instance, I have no doubt that he knew exactly what he was doing, question is, why did he do it, he knows the media will jump all over it, as I doubt he does this all the time at all golf clubs he plays on, whether he owns them or not.
-
@taniwharugby I'm guessing either he didn't care or he knows that at this point the shrillness of the media is now working for him. I understand approval ratings are up to50% now despite a constant media thrashing.
