@taniwharugby yeah but that wouldn't be till after the election, by which time the Greens hope they will be in government.
It must be pretty shit to be an MP with some integrity to sit there squirming as this woman gets you tarred with her brush as an unprincipled liar. IMO though these two have waited a bit long, it looks like they are trying to consolidate their personal votes after taking the benefit of Metiria's feral poll bump. On the other hand I'm a known cynic...
Nah, this is the end for them - no way they will win their seats of North Shore (Graham) and Northland (Clendon).
So Clendon's running against Winnie Peters? Yeah he's toast. I guess then the resignations aren't quite so principled, given they're only in the job for another month anyway.

The Greens have let another two males go by the wayside.
On April 2 they announced their list, which had three males in the top 11. With Graham gone, that means only two in the top 10. This must surely break their own rules on gender diversity.
don't assume gender please.

What? At least one of them would have easily got back in. He was placed 8th on list.
What will this so to the 50/50 gender balance -
More details starting to leak out, if she steps down they are fucked if she doesnt and this keeps going on week after week till they get down to about 7%.

Yeah, that was my thought when I read this tweet from her.
Is it possible to mail poop to someone asking for a friend

Press conference was a bust, just Shaw slagging off the two MPs that quit.
Looks a little bit like the fat turd never actually told the rest of the greens she was going to gloat about how she committed benefit fraud and make that the focus of the election campaign. -
Haha greens really have no idea do they?
Jack Tame giving Jacindasidestep a bit of a serve about claiming it is not her place to get involved in the Greens party leadership issue.

Slater is an awful amoral person but he can be very funny at times, btw I think the last thing he wants is for Turei to resign .

Don't worry, it's only two old white men lost to the Greens.
Bradbury: Losing two grumpy old white men won’t hurt Green hopes of igniting that electorate.
Gets called out on his identity politics in the comments in his blog post.
One of them is part maori which is a bit inconvenient.

Jesus I wish I hadn't clicked on that. THIS comment "Graham was never really a Green. He was a diplomat and believes in the environmental side of the party but is definitely to the right of every other Green MP." So there you have it. You've got a bunch of people here and elsewhere saying they'd vote for the Greens if they stuck to environmental issues, while another bunch slag off a Green MP for being there only for the environmental issues. Politics is a crazy world alright.

Yes, I read Clendon's iwi affiliations.
The Greens' website has expunged all memory of Graham and Clendon. https://www.greens.org.nz/ourpeople (just in case it's not already on your favourites list).
Weirdly, their news section doesn't say anything [yet] about the loss of two MPs.

The greens were the media darlings for way too long now the news outlets can't give them enough negative press. Doper in particular has been pretty blunt about this all along, he must have been smiling as he wrote this.
