What is Vmax? I have my own grubby translation of that term but no idea what you are talking about.

AUD16.50? Try paying London prices. That's a bargain. Our tickets for TLJ were GBP16.50 (and also had half an hour of crap beforehand)

Vmax is the more comfortable seats, wide screen version - I think it's normal price is $26+ but I've never gone at that price. Gold Class must be over $40 with the lay back seats and seat service (where they bring out food).

Do some UK cinemas still have those all you watch deals where you pay a yearly or monthly fee and can go whenever?

Well, you are looking to go to the flicks in London or Sydney, you'd have to to expect it to be expensive. The prices about don't seem too bad to me for an evenings entertainment.

The local cinema at Woking is a dastardly 8 pounds a throw or 9 pounds during peak. Shocking stuff. We are just mere country folk out here.

Ballad of Lefty Brown. A new western I’d never heard of. Turned out to be quite brilliant. Bill Pullman as a not very bright Hopalong Cassidy style perennial sidekick who’s determined to track down the guys who killed his western hero partner. Easily the best thing I’ve ever seen him in.

If you’re stuck for something to watch over Christmas you could do worse.

Even better than his bravado performance in Independance Day ?!?!?!?!?!

Not familiar with the books but Jackson looks to have had a ball with the special effects.

What the FUCK was this? I should have all rugby viewing privileges REVOKED for the upcoming season after watching this vicious slag bullshit. In fact I would hazard a guess i'm the only person on earth who is interested in rugby and who has also actually seen this fucken film.

My wife loves it, which means I've seen it more times than I care to remember. It does have some great work by Emily Blunt.

I think mrs Jegga actually loathes Streep even more than I do so the only movie I’ve seen of hers in the past 15 years or so is August Osage County. I was a big fan of Sam Shepherd but he was only in it briefly and Streep was a shrill shitwitch for the entire film. Avoid
Fortunately that means I’ve managed to avoid the Devil wears Prada, Mama Mia and the one where she supposed to be getting nailed by Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin. If the trailers are anything to go by watching them looks about as enjoyable as castrating myself with a cheese grater.

Meryl Streep taking the piss out of trump in some wanky Hollywood liberal bullshit skit actually made me sympathise with the Don.

    This speaks volumes about her.

Bleating about Hollywood is reviled while at the same time sympathising with a pedophile? Er, ok.
