Ballad of Lefty Brown. A new western I’d never heard of. Turned out to be quite brilliant. Bill Pullman as a not very bright Hopalong Cassidy style perennial sidekick who’s determined to track down the guys who killed his western hero partner. Easily the best thing I’ve ever seen him in.
If you’re stuck for something to watch over Christmas you could do worse.

Even better than his bravado performance in Independance Day ?!?!?!?!?!

The Devil Wears Prada
What the FUCK was this? I should have all rugby viewing privileges REVOKED for the upcoming season after watching this vicious slag bullshit. In fact I would hazard a guess i'm the only person on earth who is interested in rugby and who has also actually seen this fucken film.My wife loves it, which means I've seen it more times than I care to remember. It does have some great work by Emily Blunt.

I think mrs Jegga actually loathes Streep even more than I do so the only movie I’ve seen of hers in the past 15 years or so is August Osage County. I was a big fan of Sam Shepherd but he was only in it briefly and Streep was a shrill shitwitch for the entire film. Avoid
Fortunately that means I’ve managed to avoid the Devil wears Prada, Mama Mia and the one where she supposed to be getting nailed by Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin. If the trailers are anything to go by watching them looks about as enjoyable as castrating myself with a cheese grater. -

This speaks volumes about her.

Bleating about Hollywood is reviled while at the same time sympathising with a pedophile? Er, ok.

Cowboys and Aliens (2011)
Also stars Han Solo. He tries to be the gruff baddie.
Aren't the Aliens the baddies?

Watched a b-grade movie called Mayhem, with Glen from TWD and a tidy chick called Samara Weaving (another Home and Away export according to IMDB)
Anywhoo, on a day when 'Glen' a lawyer in a huge firm is blamed for buggaring something up for thier biggest client, a virus that removes peoples inhibitions and act on any impulses somehow causes the building to be locked down for the 8 hours the virus lives for; chaos and mayhem ensues!
Was good fun!

Morris from America: Funny little comedy-drama movie about a black kid who has moved to Germany as his dad is a soccer coach (the dad is Craig Robinson aka the Pontiac Bandit to B99 fans, and the black guy in Hot Tub Time Machine, This is the End, and in lots of Apatow movies) and it's about how he's trying to fit in. The conversations between the dad and the kid are funny, and the cultural differences, and the drama is ok too. A lot of the story is about his friendship (and he wants more) with a German girl and his rapping. 4 Black American Soccer player out 5 Ice Cube Juniors.
Before watching this tried to watch Better Watch Out, an Xmas horror about a babysitter and the boy she's looking after - it was such unmitigated shit that we turned it off after 20 minutes. It didn't even have a hot enough babysitter to keep watching. My mate decided to finish watching it later that day and how the story played out sounded ok, but I doubt I'll ever finish it because that 20 minutes was so shit.

Back To The Future
Still the best movie ever fuckin made.
5 flux capacitors out of one point twenty one jigga watts.
Ha! We all just watched it as well. Was nearly going to watch last night but went for Princess Bride as our Classic of the night so it was great to see it appear on tele tonight.
I love the little 'Easter egg' details scattered throughout. Like how Marty originally meets Doc at the Twin Pines shopping mall but at the end it is the Lone Pine.
