Gladstone
I've never heard of Gladstone and likely have been past it many times ;).
I assume your GPS tried to take you over the Pahiatua track and sent you to Palmy to do it? You could have avoided it altogether by going over the Saddle Road but then you would to have gone through Feilding, Bunnythorpe, Ashurst and Woodville, so six of one, half dozen of the other really.
Manawatu Gorge is shut though brudda. Ask @NTA about Gladstone. Magnificent spot.
That's why I said over the Saddle Road - although, TBF you could have gotten to the Pahiatua track the same way. There really was no reason to go to Palmy.
What would NTA know about magnificent, he's Australian, they call hills the Blue Mountains.
I've driven from Taupo to Welly about a million times but haven't done the other way before....and I always get lost in the flat hole that is Palmy.
I guess you need to aim for Ashurst on the GPS from say Bulls, then once you hit Ashurst aim for Gladstone. Just avoid the dark grey clouds in the centre as that's Palmy.

Walk down into the valleys between them, smart-arse. They'll look like mountains on the way out, trust me.
Where the fuck is Gladstone?

If the clouds donβt put you off the billboard that says β if you lived here, youβd have hung yourself by nowβ certainly should.

It's where you stayed in November, moron.

Having just spent a week down there in Katoomba I have adjusted my opinion of the Blue Mountains. Spectacular piece of country. Most impressed and seriously underrated. (As opposed to the Sydney Estuary which was seriously underwhelming, although with a pretty spectacular, if disappointingly small, bridge. Most overrated. Both cases perhaps reflective of expectation.)
But a GPS? In NZ? To get from Taupo to the Wairarapa? Even with the Gorge closed it should take one glimpse at a map ...

Shsssssh, we're supposed to be winding up the Aussies about their mountains that you have to descend down into before discovering their beauty ;).
What is the Sydney Estuary? The Harbour area?

My opinion of their overhyped harbour which is the most spectacular/beautiful/awesome harbour in the woooorld. Was a let down for me. Nothing more than an estuary with an over inflated ego and a few funny buildings at the edges ...

No map and in the other halfs car so phone had gone flat too. As I said I've always gone direct to Welly but this time decided to go to the raps.
Palmy is a flat shithole with no landmarks and scantily clad fat bitches who should dress for the body they have, not the one they want.

To be fair, the same could be said for MANY NZ locations.

Fair call but everything always seems worse in Palmy.
Whoa, I think I just created a new town slogan!!

Not condoning the action of the creep who saw an opportunity to cop a free feel ( who deservedly copped a few smacks in return)
But if your looking for a reaction you canβt always expect it to be a positive one. Reading the rest of the story itβs clear she loves any kind of attention -
@virgil guy is a dick.
I wonder if she walks about topless like that in the Middle East as well. I expect going to a festival where people get naked, then being topless is probably the norm. Going topless at a beach in nz is still not the norm for females (not saying it's right or wrong) let alone at a festival.
She sounds like she craves attention, and when you want it, you will always get some you don't like as well.

@jegga said in Alternative needed from the absolute crap of stuff.co.nz:
Regardless of her attention whoring any sort of behaviour that discourages attractive women from being naked in public is utterly abhorrent.
