Munro continuing to do a great job of "concentrating on white ball cricket".

We need Chapman to come good on his potential right now.

I don't think Chapman or Nicholls have the temperament to handle English pressure today

Henry Nicholls' day today - we need him in early so he doesn't have to go from the start... and it's panning out! 🙂

50/2 in the 16th over. Poor start but not a complete disaster. We really need these two to bat to 35+ overs though so plenty of work to be done.

    Now it's a disaster

Chapman is just not ready for this level yet. Signs were already there and it was a bad call by the management to select him for this game.

More of the same shit from our top order I see, only difference this time is we haven’t had someone stick their neck out above the mediocrity and save the day.

Our batting largely has been fucking terrible in 2018, too many guys are going missing

We've got the batting lineup all wrong today. Chapman was too high, Nicholls too low, CdG ahead of the in-form Santner means we don't have him to hit at the end of the innings. Poor dismissals and poor tactics, very disappointing.

Is this pitch as good as the comms are making out? It seems to be a bit slow, taking some turn and although our guys played some ordinary shots to get out, miss timed miss hits might be more to do with the surface?

I know that I left some straws lying around here somewhere, I was clutching at them earlier.

Pitch might not be worth 300+ but it ain't as bad as we've shown. Right decision to bowl first and let the other team figure it out.

In my view we do need to go for 250 from here and risk being all our for 180 rather than limping to 220.

Yeah. Got to at least try to post a target but can't see it happening.

Munro made a pretty lucky 49 and 7 runs in his other four innings.

Chapman 9 runs in 3 innings.

CdGh - two mediocre scores, three failures.

On the other side of the equation - Rossco has been excellent and Santner has exceeded expectations.

Kane one good score, but a couple of failures - good, but not as good as we needed.

Guptill and Latham have contributed, both averaging about 30 so probably pass marks - Latham moreso than Guppy.

Nicholls - SFA before today - but, redemption is at hand!

Apparently he is blind, so yes his batting is remarkable.

The great thing about expectations with the teams that I follow (mentioned above) - I don't have any (of winning anyway).
