Good shit, though I think bulldozing the house with her still inside would be a better option.

@dogmeat I am standing by my assertion that any bacon is better than no bacon.
I did a 6 week course years ago that had a a cafeteria. There were Muslims and the kitchen had to cook turkey "bacon" and lamb "bacon", whilst they weren't bad I have had an issues with bacon withdrawal ever since.
It was 25 years ago and the counseling isn't working.

Good bacon = great food. The quality level of the product increases exponentially when consumed.
Rubbish bacon is rubbish. Water pumped, tough, doesn't sizzle etc etc.Even I n the land of the supposedly great 'full English' the same rules apply. You have to hunt out the real stuff among the rubbish.
I was making my own for a while but then found the easily accessible "Heston Alder Wood Smoked' at Waitrose. Beautiful, crisp and with the right fat ratio. Uses molasses and malt in the cure. -

I don't even need to click on this to know the story you mean. I hate fucktards who think laws don't apply to them.
I'm assuming she just flies instead of using roads?

@snowy eggs benedict is an entirely different debate. Most over-rated breakfast ever IMO.
Good bacon pairs perfectly with softly poached eggs so why ruin this sublime marriage by smothering it in an oily mass produced sauce that disguises rather than enhances the taste of the core ingredients?
-
Philistines! Eggs Benedict does not include bacon. It is made with ham.

..and adding butter to something is never bad.

That does not change this:
"the core principle is that something with bacon is better than something without (or with fucking salmon)."
Can the White Knight award be given to someone defending salt cured pork?

I also refer you to this:
"Eggs Benedict (also called by the slang term "Eggs Benny") is a traditional American breakfast or brunch dish that consists of two halves of an English muffin each of which is topped with Canadian bacon, ham or sometimes bacon, a poached egg, and hollandaise sauce. The dish was first popularized in New York City. Many variations on the basic recipe are served."
I prefer bacon.

@snowy Well done. You are right but also wrong. There is little (rather than nothing) that is not made better by having bacon added. The chocolate pizza with added bacon would be an example. Eggs Benedict with ham is another. Quoting an American recipe lends no gravitas.

I would argue that a chocolate pizza would be shit anyway, adding bacon could well improve it.
I also suggest that eggs benedict with 2 kinds of cured pork is better than one without.
Not going to be dissuaded here, this is important. You lot go off and talk about world politics, nuclear threats, whatever. This is bacon.
-
Meh, I'm not a massive fan of bacon. And it shits me that it's now on everything.
I have found i prefer vegetarian options at breakfast these days for some reason.
Don't get me wrong, a decent fry up of bacon and eggs absolutely has its place, but that place is few and far between for me.

@mariner4life Where is that ignore feature on here?

@virgil said in Alternative needed from the absolute crap of stuff.co.nz:
I suspect we need a seperate Bacon thread...
It would be best placed in the religion thread and be the emergence of the Great Bacon Schism.

Why are people liking this post? Bacon goes with anything.
We now have Eggs Benedict snobs?
