    Masters week is here!

Looks to be a very open tournament this year plus the added hype that TIGER is back, joining Leishman and Fleetwood for the first two rounds

Cant wait for it for it to get underway

So who are we all picking to take home the green jacket?

@jk yeah seems pretty open with the form players of the past few years in DJ, Day, Speith, McIlroy et al not at the peaks they were.

Sadly I think Tiger will be all hype, but hey, cant hurt the game with him there!

Reckon it'll be a nobody from nowhere that will take this one.

DJ still world number 1....but very under the radar. He is a player who should do well at Augusta but hasnt yet.

Would like to see Tiger do well. Two top 5s in his past 4 starts is pretty promising. He also knows Augusta probably better than anyone in the field.

I reckon Tiger will go pretty well. His last three Tournaments show he is still rather useful apart from a couple of capitulations towards the end. I imagine he will overcome those though

@hooroo oh yeah, don't get me wrong, he is still a great player and still has some flashes of his old brilliance, but whether he can pull it off for 72 holes is the key...love to be wrong and it'd be a great story if he does, but not sure he can.

I want to see Woods win, then jump straight into a limo of hookers!! With John Daley driving smoke and beer in hand. That'd be epic 😁

But seriously hoping Tiger does well. Nobody gets golf fans frothing like he does.

One of my fave annual sporting events ... and here I am going to Paris to celebrate a fucking wedding anniversary ...

    Predictions
    Woods won't make the cut
Poulter, who is all the talk of the UK after winning the Houston open, to finish top 10
Sergio to barely make the cut
    Dustin to win it.

Poor old Tony Finau! Nice ace in the hole in one tournament then ran off down fairway celebrating and dislocated his ankle! Managed to fire it back in to place and finish the 9 but didnt seem too keen to talk about it post round and could now be in doubt!

Took a couple of tiger special bets $2 to score 1 or more eagles (surely) and $17.50 to go bogey free in any one round. Worth a small play

I've had a crack at good odds on Bubba Watson, Justin Rose and Paul Casey.

A really open tournament. I think Tiger looms and finishes top 10, though I'm still unsure he can string together four straight rounds in a major. Tipping a 76 on the Friday or Saturday followed by a too-little-too-late charge on Sunday.

DJ, Spieth or Thomas could very well win, and comfortably.

I watched some of the par 3 tournament yesterday. It was bloody interesting. The greens are obviously setup to make it seem a bit easier, but the sheer quality of the play was still enlightening.

Player, Nicklaus and Tom Watson were strolling around, going to tee to hold regularly in 2, big crowds, lots of fun events (caddies holes, kids holes, skim ball holes etc).

And then they interviewed Bubba. It became pretty clear why he's not well liked. Sheesh, cheer up man - it's fun!

It looks as open as it's ever been this year with plenty of players showing some recent form and you can make a case for any of around 20 to win.

Rose looks a good bet. Always seems to be around the leaders as does Thomas. Would love to see Rory in the mix. If his putter goes well he'll have a good week. Woods relies a lot on his putting - so likewise for him.

Crappy start for Woods ... although has birdied as I type this to go 2 over and 6 off the lead.

Cannot control the ball off the tee. All over the show!

A few players having trouble at the 15th

Garcia has just put 3 4 5 in the water! Spinning back on the green and down the slope in to the drink!

Makes the green for 12! Sinks the putt for a 13!
