πŸ™‚ Elicited exactly the response I was expecting

But its a bit more serious than that: Pornhub isn't a payment platform as such, but Mindgeek (effectively parent of Pornhub and a few other sites like Brazzers) took something like 350M Euro last year. Everyone knows porn is big business. But once you understand who owns what, you realise just how big some of these are.

And Verge is designed to be a privacy protocol, so seems like a good fit.

The price yesterday got as high as 15c Aussie, but leading up to, and after, the announcement last night, there were big selloffs so its back to ~10c.

That's OK, because as things start to integrate we should see a rise (pun intended).

@jk two things drive innovation above everything else: war and boobies.

That's pretty cheap, could be worth squirting some spare change into it

There's a definite air of prospect about it. Could easily triple or better in the next 12 months.

I'm holding enough to get back to even if it doubles.

Verge is what you'd call "easing downward" so I've temporarily moved out if it. πŸ˜‰

Maybe that will prompt the price to go back up, using my mystical power of "whatever this fluffybunny sells out of, make valuable again!" πŸ˜‰

And in other great news: Savedroid, marketed as β€œbuilding a user interface that will make a cryptocurrency investment just as simple as a savings account. Our mission is to eliminate adoption barriers and make cryptocurrencies accessible for everyone!”

After raising $50 million in its ICO, the website now shows nothing but a fullscreen South Park meme:

Regardless of how clever I thought I was, I wouldn't have used my real name, nor posted a photo of myself. If anything, I would have asked a random stranger to pose for a shot. The person who pushed in front of me at the lounge for example...

@antipodean I see some people have identified the egyptian resort he is at for the photo.

if course if he was really clever he would have taken that weeks ago and is instead right now in a log cabin in alaska

Well, it has 3 years already since this post. I was looking for some chats to know what people thought about cryptocurrencies one or two years ago. As I noticed situation didn't change pretty much. But that's wrong.

The recent activity around GameStop has proven that crypto is more like the stock market than some ever thought to believe.
