Actually, why shouldn't we do a Cricket Australia and relegate our neighbours to second tier venues for 30 years or so? We should in all seriousness send a message to the ARU and host the Wallabies next year in Invercargill.

We could even accidentally send that message by playing them in Christchurch.

Christchurch might be easier to get to for fans.

Ah fuck, beaten. I was so proud, too.

@bones True but I want them both to be fresh when we play Ireland and England and don't want them to get injured playing a team we should beat fairly easily. Can't lose to both those fluffybunnies.

Never thought I would say this but I probably hate losing to the Irish more than to the English now. The Irish fans have been incredibly cocky since their one victory in a hundred years.

Visited Nelson for the first time earlier this year.
Their stadium looks to be a nice little provincial stadium, but bloody hell I can’t believe they’ve given them a test.

I dont know if it will be wholesale changes. I think it will more be minutes played, so maybe sub early. the starting 15 might be pretty solid with bench the big change.
Retallick, Moody, Franks, Read, Squire haven't played a lot of minutes in super rugby and with Crotty and Rieko back i think they could be only major changes.
everyone is also saying Richie to start but remember that Mackenzie is next in line. Think of Sopoaga it took him a looong time to get ob field, even if Mounga is an upgrade.
Only thought is they will want to rest some people but may do that when travel to Argie/SA as they like to send some to SA before tour party arrive. I also think they will want to now win Rugby Championship before they head over there.
    Possibly

J Barrett or Mackenzie a start
    Naholo
ALB (coaches did say Goodhue had played a lot of minutes)
    Crotty
    Iaone
    Barrett
    Perenara
    Read
    Cane
    Squire
    Barrett
    Rettalick
    Tuungafasi
    Taylor
    Moody

    Karl T
    Perry
    Harris
    Hemopo
    Whitelock
    TTT
    Barrett or Mackenize
    Laumape
    NMS

On the principle that tests should be hosted by First Division Unions, the options are pretty much Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, Nelson and New Plymouth.

New Plymouth's stadium has been condemned so Nelson it is!

    Hooray!!!

    GFY as well! 🙂

@allblacksfan72 Sam Whitelock has played a lot of minutes this year and I think they will play him off the bench as a result. They should have selected an extra lock in the squad imo so that we could have given both our rock star locks some time off during the RC.

I'd pick Fifita. He ticks all the boxes and then some with his raw athleticism....but then there's the glaring fact he won't get picked at lock cos he said he doesn't want to be a lock.

Fifita is not in the squad.
Taylor needs a rest, as do Sam Whitelock and Aaron Smith.

No way we should be resting or rotating Squire. He needs as much time if he’s going to build as our number one blindside.

To me it’s the midfield and back 3 that will be of most interest. Argies look threatening when going wide. I’d hope we have match ready and in form players.
