Movie review thread...

I think TD was forever tainted by License to Kill. That was arguably the shittiest Bond film.
I thought he was a great Bond though. Far more like the Bond envisaged by Fleming, even if only his ghost was able to see him on screen 😉.

The Living Daylights (1987)
"Timothy Dalton" "TIMOTHY DALTON"? Who the fuck is this weasel-eyed fluffybunny? This wooden wiener is about as suave as goddamn cock cancer. Compared to his illustrious predecessors, messrs Connery and Moore, he looks like he bought his clothes in the fucking supermarket.
"Timothy Dalton". May as well be Tomoko fucken Dildostein for all he's got to do with my Bond franchise. HowTF did he even pass the screen test? His dad must be the goddamn director.
Did the dishes. Read up on the footy. Basically stalled until this bland Where's Wally twat got OFF my telly.
I enjoyed this one. It was a bit 'dark'. Pretty certain a few people who knew Fleming said he said Dalton was his personal favourite Bond.
Necros was one of the coolest henchmen too, better than that homo Dario from LTK
Doubtful seeing as he died 23 years before The Living daylights was made.
I think it was George Lazenby who was said by Flemming to most resemble the person whom he most based the Bond character on.
But then I could be pulling that one out of my arse like @MN5
Also to throw my $0.02 worth into the ring, I really enjoyed all the Bond movies growing up with Roger Moore as Bond and going back to watch the Connery Bonds.
I actually thought Timothy Dalton made a decent fist of Bond. His Bond was darker, less flashy and less misogynistic which I think paved the way for Daniel Craig (who by the way is my least favourite Bond).
To also stir the pot, I really enjoyed Brosnan's Bond and Goldeneye is one of my all time favourites. Also Goldeneye one of the very best, if not best, movie to console game transitions ever!
Definitely agree with that and I'll add that Goldeneye is easily the best Bond film I've seen (I haven't seen all but probably over half).

Hmmmmmm perhaps I'm thinking Brocolli?
Either way, I hate it when the truth fucks up a good anecdote.

@jegga nah, no where near as tough as Bourne.
Jason Bourne doesn’t tell dad jokes either .

Been a while since I saw a Bond film , from memory he’s like a gay Jason Bourne right?
Only the Roger Moore version. Sean Connery and Timothy Dalton would fuck Maaaatt Daaaamon up.

Yeah nah . Pierce Brosnan would be owned pretty easily by Bourne too

Interesting that Daniel Craig is much smaller than all of the other Bonds. Never realised Pierce Brosnan was so tall (1.88).

George Lazenby trained with Bruce Lee.
By that measure I should have been a Test player...

I think Piece got measured by the same bloke that did Ardie....
The only legit 6 foot 2 bonds were Connery and Lazenby.

He was In the army as well and a legit tough dude in real life. I did like your post though

I think Matt Damon is a cock but

He looks like Remington Steele playing James Bond

Dalton is too. Think he's the tallest of the lot.
