Where’s the aura at? Any updates?

No points for Aura - fighting this pack of cripples doesn't count any more.

After watching a replay of the test it was interesting to see how little Aust kicked deep, which negated any counter-attacking opportunities for DMac and co. There were a couple of kicks down the sidelines that went in goal but apart from the kick behind when BB was caught on the goal line they obviously had a tactic of keeping the ball in hand. I expect England and Ireland to kick more which will provide those opportunities to attack.

I’d be surprised if they kicked much. Historically they may have but they would be crazy to do so. Ireland have the attacking game to play with the ball.

Box kicking is a big part of Murray's arsenal but maybe less now with him not there. But I still expect Ireland to put the ball in the air and challenge, something Aust didn't do (the Folau midfield catch aside). England will kick more than Aust did, and use their wingers to chase.

Fark, you're keen. I struggled to maintain interest through the game - it seemed both sides were playing a very limited gameplan and not showing much at all.

My recollection of Ireland against Australia, was one out runners , forwards and backs together , tucking the ball under the arm , very rarely passing , hitting it hard , trying to get over the gain line , over and over and over monotonous like , for long long periods

I’m expecting them to do this and try to make us defend for long periods and starve us of possession

I was just focusing on a couple of things. Kicking being one of them.

The Wallabies breached the AB defensive line numerous times (something McLeod will need to rectify) but the scrambling defence was very good. Desperation tackles from the likes of Savea, Taylor, DMac, Ioane and BB.

I got hard reading this, his ability to interpret what he sees correctly is probably why he’s so terrible at reversing a car.

Can’t be easy going from player in a golden era of Australian Rugby to comments man during the current rabble.
Seeing them get their asses handed to them from a team that at times doesn’t get out of 3rd gear but still can win by 20 points.

Good to see "Comical Eddie" Jones influence still lingers in the Wallabies...

This thread is lacking discussion on how many more points than the Wallabies Akira would have scored if only he was selected by that coaching team who clearly can't afford Sky.

Be fair, at least there hasn't been any mention of Charlie Ngatai as the answer to our midfield problems. 🙂

The answer is ALL, we would have won by all the points more

@tim don’t know why more teams would not use this move simplistic in its Activation, but I guess you still need a bit power backed up with a bit of pace to finish
    👍

I loved TJP's reaction while BB was running to the line. I think he was acknowledging Ioane as the training ground move came off.
